Schools would get A through F report cards from state (4:34 p.m.)

Gov. Susana Martinez's proposal to give every public school a letter grade of A through F gained political momentum Monday, as state senators endorsed it.

Students in this district (Cruces) are not allowed to make an F. So why should the schools.

So the state will give the schools grades but not the resources to help students improve? What's the point of that? And when all the schools in LC get low grades, then what? It's just a political exercise and nothing more.
