Last week I was in Anthony going down the road where all the road construction is going on. I couldn't believe all the graffiti all over the place. Almost every building was tagged. It was so disgusting to see all this. I guess these little Anthony hoodlums don't have any respect for their town. I don't know what they are trying to prove except that they are low scum with nothing better to do. They give the town a bad name along with all their drive-bys. They think that they are all bad A** but everyone else looks at them like
stupid little punks. Make the parents pay for the clean up and make these punks clean it. What are the parents doing that they don't know where there kids are at that hour of the night. Probably partying with all the other "tagging crew" parents. These Anthony punks mske me sick!!

I have emailed District Attorney Susana Martinez's office requesting a stiff prosecution for these two criminals, as well as for the graffiti "artist" arrested last week.

I suggest anyone else annoyed with all the graffiti do the same.

The parents of these little losers should be forced to make restitution to all of the businesses and private citizens who have had damage from the tagging. Living in Anthony is as close as I would ever want to come to living in a 3rd world country.

These little vandals are like cockroaches, they come out after dark. They have no respect for property or police authority.

If the Dona Ana County Sheriff can not handle these little thugs, I think Gov. Richardson should send in the NM National Guard and round them all up and lock them up. Their parents (if they can be located) should be held financially responsible.

These kids should be punished to the full extent of the law, i am so tired of seeing tagging done by these kids it is unreal, they should have to clean every single tagging in Las Cruces and the surrounding areas ie.. Radium Springs, Dona Ana.

The mother is probably depressed, inadequate, and totally unaware of how her deficiencies affect the broader community. I'm sure Anthony has some decent people living there, but all the stories I read point to extreme poverty, chronic crime, child abuse, cock fighting, oh it goes on and on. You think these kids will face any consequences? Not in this state. They likely have track records already and the judge will dismiss the case with minor probation.

Anthony does have some people living there...I know some...it's the little punks that give the town a bad name...with all their drive by shootings and tagging businesses. I agree they should put chains on their ankles and make them clean up their own mess.
