K-9 police officer attacked by pit bulls

A Las Cruces K-9 police officer was attacked by two pit bulls Thursday morning during a SWAT incident on Risner Street, authorities said.

Good for the cops! It should be open season on any pit bull not enclosed or restrained.

The pit bulls were no more than a year old, and they were in a kennel.Having personal knolwedge and knowing the dogs the killing of them was malicious.They were harmless,and to say that they attacked an officer but to state at the end that the officer was uninjured is contradictory. If two "vicious" pitbulls attack someone you'd be pretty positive that that person would have injuries.

You've gotta remember at the end of the story it was stated neither cop or k9 was injured, so how do you justify saying they were attacked,or shooting kenneled animals.Dont be so quick to judge, the high risk warrant,bringing the swat team with it yeilded half a gram of cocaine a crack pipe, no weapons.I tell you its the bust of the decade.Its more like a vandetta and a agenda to scare the people of las cruces.

If you did witness the event, give your description. If not, you don't know jack of what happened.

No I wasnt there but I do know that the dogs were both a year old, harmless and in a kennel.The dog catcher was also brought to the raid so why kill the dogs.You see, people like you havent the capabillity to see beyond your fear of the bad things criminals do, so you back the pigs up 100%.Question whats happened and you may find out that theres a whole nother issue.

My comments are biased since the party whose house got raided is a good friend of mine.But,that would and does give me first hand knowledge of the whole situation.I did know the dogs,my two year old played with them regularly.I do know how the back yard is set up with the kennel, and how the dogs were kept in it.I do know the supposed "super criminal" with his 1/2 a gram and pipe.The situation in this town is that police funding has been cut down and in order to boost it back up,the powers that be have made it a point to make the simplest of crimes around here look heinous.Then the scared citizens of Las Cruces will vote to give the police force more funding.No I'm not a choloe,I go to work every day and support my three kids and wife.But you can believe me there is a enormous amount of zealous cops down here that will screw you over with out thought or reason.

THe super criminal with the 1/2 gram and pipe indicate a substance abuser...not a trafficker nor dealer.

Everyone that lives in Cruces is aware... if you want to buy weight... get it from the boys in blue.

Now... there is your reason for the big swat situation and dog killing. It is to send a message to dealers or anyone not selling the cops' dope.

Anyone can drive around town and witness drug deals, drug houses and drug abusers walking around. These are sanctioned because they do not go against the grain of what is already established.
