He should have had to serve the 364 days for the probation violation after the 364 days for the driving offense! This is one of the reasons why people keep doing what they are doing, leniency!!

I bet if this was anyone else besides the previous mayor's son they would be facing more time in jail. What a shame...this was his 3rd DWI offense & 364 days is all he gets? He'll be out in no time doing the same stupid stuff all over again!!

You can attribute the sentence to all the back-slapping and good-ol'boy pandering that goes on in the judge's chambers.

I don't know what's worse;
Killing one person and nearly killing another or rolling a Geo Metro.

Just another example of how wrong things are in this town. but its ok because we will forget about this incident by next week and Little Tomlin will be out in no time to drink and drive again. This makes me sick..........

Next election Lisa Schultz will lose. And if she wins then we best not complain about her decision making.

It seems as if this young fellow received more time in Jail than some of our drive by Gang shootings and Armed Robbers.

Nevarez-Garcia won, and yet we still complain.

Schultz will win again too, and we will still complain.

Sorry, but this sentence reeks of class justice. At the very least he should serve each sentence seperate. Because he's the son of a EX-politician, even, he serves both at once. Not fair, not right! Sorry a person had to die, and the other be seriously injured. He should never be allowed to drive again...MULTIPLE DWIs what's up with that?
must be nice

Ill remember 3rd Judicial District Court Judge LISA SCHULTZ, When we vote her out next time. Very sad that you can buy off a judge or give favors to privileged people..... You should be ashamed of your self to call yourself a judge1

Wow what kind of justice is that, so that means i get to go drive drunk and kill a pedestrian and only serve 1 year or less in jail wow thats pretty darn cool.
