I agree.

Well, you've definitely changed the character of the community and made living here a nightmare. I'd rather live in the poor dusty town that we once were than to put up with all of you busybody newcomers who are trying to transform Las Cruces into whatever hellhole you're running away from.
Er, Jupiter, ya think Left In LC just might have been joking? Do ya think?

Yea here is your leader Obama helping out his wacko friend Nancy Pelosi.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) saw her net worth rise 62 percent last year, cementing her status as one of the wealthiest members of Congress.

Jump off a high dive into a real swimming pool, for one.
Oh...and a "newcomer" was responsible for the reconfigured pool???
Planning for that was started years ago, and a great deal of the expense came from the State, some of it from sticking it to newcomers no doubt, not from local money.
As B. Kliban once said: Chiggers can't be boozers. Get a job and build your own pool instead of depending on the socialist welfare state to give one to you.

Yeah...that huge rise in the stock market since Obama was elected is a real burden on everyone. People are screaming in outrage about their 401k and retirement accounts growing again, recovering what was lost in the last year of the Bush administration.
If only McCain/Palin had won so they could continue tanking the economy and making houses even cheaper and stock portfolios even more worthless.
It's a crime, isn't it?

The housing market is in the tank, unemployment is up, and the market has been on the skids nearly the entire month of June. Keep those rose-colored DOGGLES on, dude!

...on the last day of the Bush administration the market closed at 8,200. Today, even after a slide in the past 10 trading days, the market is still up some 3,700 points since then, or around 40%.
I'll take that, thank you, and I'll put on those rose-colored Doggles when I look at the 40+ percent my retirement portfolio has increased since Dubya went back to that village in Texas.

Americans have seen their personal wealth increase by hundreds of billions in the past two years, though there's clearly a long way to go. US companies seem to want to cut employees and invest in efficiency such as equipment. I think that's a shame, but that's how the free enterprise market works. Would you prefer some other system? We're pulling out of the worst crash since '29 (thanks to 8 years of Republican economic policies) and recovery will take more time.
Keep yapping about how terrible things are...and I'll show you how much worse they were when Dubya was in office.

And I employ myself, thanks! There aren't a lot of benefits to self-employment, other than freedom, but at least I don't lay myself off ;)

Please get with the unemployed people and tell them how good they have it. Tell them how nearly a trillion dollars was spent and how Obama rewarded those who contributed to his campaign with stimulus $$ only to have unemployment go up after the stimulus money was wasted.

Ok...I'll start with the thousands of auto workers being rehired by GM, Chrysler, Ford, and the many hundreds of small businesses that supply them. I'm sure they all really hate the efforts of the Obama administration when trying to save a large part of the manufacturing base of the country.
Nice to know you've done the intricate economic analysis to determine who got stimulus money and how it was wasted.

just don't understand economics. You'd have more success reasoning with a wall than with that person.

About the In-N-Out Burgers. I retired in California and moved to las Cruces. In-n-out are all over California and are the busiest burger business in California. I have not found a burger here that even comes close.
