I'm glad to hear it. Haven't been on email much these days...too busy. I'm glad both of you are getting out and enjoying the state. Grandkids? I'll assume you're both going solo or should I say, kidfree! Seriously, Days will do your need for a GCCB. If you decide on something else for dinner, try Zeffiro's. It's right up the way from Day's in the downtown mall. Or try Andele's green chile enchiladas. Yummy. Have fun & Bon Apetit!
For the most part these will certainly be grandma & grandpa trips all over the state. Love the GKs and spend a lot of time with the 6 of them but we need time for ourselves too. I can afford(within reason) and have the time to travel about NM. There is a lot to offer and see and we intend to do just that.

because a lot of people have finally come to realize that place is overrated, with the exception of the "ice cold beer".:-)

The Outpost in Carrizozo is right up there with the best, though it's a bit of a hike just for a burger. Plus there's so much stuff to look at!
