Amazing another small tax hike that is added to
all the other BS tax hikes - when is enough -
If the city was not in a rush to hire Assistant
City Managers, Sustainability Officers and the
what not we might have money to do things they
should already be doing with tax money - like
A $10,000 per year pay raise - where did the
2M saved go?
Yep tax and spend, spend and tax, tax and spend.
Typical liberal progressive BS.
Remember they will only tire of spending other
peoples money when that runs out.
Just say no -NO MORE TAX INCREASES Ken and Company

Yes, Mr. or Mrs. or Miss APPAUSEPLEASE, you hit it on the head of the nail all right. I wish you would run for elective office at your next opportunity. With just this argument, you would win handily.

Repeal the gasoline tax and impose state and federal taxes on miles driven and vehicle weight. This can be tracked by a electronic device in your vehicle, but we need to ensure that it is taper resistant. This device can track a number of things, red light, speeding, no insurance violations. The list can go on and on.

You must be out of your mind. Talk about expanding government
overreach and another chapter in hey big brother.
Another clownbot on the loose watch out!

Electric vehicles do not contribute their share in road use tax. That's not fair to others while they help chew up our roads for free. Plus they get all these tax credits. You break the law, I want to know and violators be held accountable. Clownbot is not even close to word or some computer geek's goodly goop phrase.

For someone who has an arrogant user name in all caps, you make a lot of spelling and grammatical errors. You're also an ideological moron with absolutely no common sense.

Start by addressing the subject. Have a child read the topic back to you. Ask questions if you don't understand.

Go poll all of those who pay very little in taxes about new constructions, roads, food stamps, social security, medicaid, medicare, welfare, etc and they will all vote favorably for the increased taxes. Want more cops? Better streets? An obama phone? Sure, just vote to increase taxes. What happens when the taxpayers get tired of paying taxes and simply leave the country?

You do not pay taxes you do not get to vote.
Taxation with representation my A$$.
Representation without taxation is the problem.
Do not pay property tax you do not get to vote on bond issues.
Do not pay Federal income tax - no voting for federal positions.
Do not pay state tax - sorry you cannot vote for state positions and issues.
Do many folks with no skin in the game and use to sugar daddy government giving them eveything they want.
Study shows if you get all the government benefits availble in New Mexico the value is the same a job paying $25/hour for a 40 hour week without having to pay taxes.
The problem with socialism is at some point you run out of other peoles money to spend.

Your always wrong - useless to deal with someone dumber than a
rock. Typical progressive POS - free loader reciepent class

No reason for everyone to pay for public anything. No public schools, hospitals, etc. Schools for example, free. Why? If you have no kids, why do you have to pay for public education? Someone wants to have 10 kids, they must pay 400 per kid a month. If you got 1 kid, you pay 400 per month. No reason to put your load (no pun intended) on the public. Time for people to take personal responsibility for their kids. Let's get rid of these useless politicians also. No more political welfare. Fire 'em all.

Isn't it funny how we can make studies say anything that we want them to? The funniest thing is that people buy all the BS we make up. As a politician, I say, "we need increased tax revenue, put out a study asking seniors if they believe that increased police on the roads is necessary for their safety.". Next, we report the results as "Study shows that the majority of Americans support increases in taxes". It's so funny to see how people will simply agree to increases in anything as long as it is not coming directly from their bank account.
Next time, we will put out a study to see how people feel about giving up half of their savings for conservation of the environment. We will word it as follows to environmentalists, "do you believe that increased spending on environmental conservation is needed?". 99 percent will agree. The study results will be published as so, "the majority of Americans support giving up 1/2 of their savings for the environment".
