The oil industry is a global one. Oil or gas from the US enters the international market, so there is no "US oil" or "US natural gas."

Some people don't care if water is contaminated in Otero County so that the Chinese can have the cheapest gas possible.

Some people don't care if the Grand Canyon or Yosimite is sold off to the Chinese in the name of a 'free market' but call the people who want to protect our water and keep our public land 'socialists' as if that's a bad thing.
