I find Congressman Pearce's article a breath of fresh air and common sense,at a time when it is much needed.I hope this is not lip service, and he is proactive in his ideas on forest management. He is also correct in embracing Ted Williams opinion on the radical agendas of the far-left environmentalist organizations.New Mexico is a unique place, with unique situations, which need creative, unique solutions by New Mexicans, who are familiar with their special environment. The people of New Mexico must come together for the common good of all the citizens and for the good of future generations. The forests and wildlife are precious resources that should be managed for sustained harvest,to waste such a gift is not imaginable to a conscientious human being. All New Mexicans should support Congressman Pearce efforts to get it right this time.
