The fire is completely out of the Loma Grande Subdivision, it want by the edge of it. A firefighter came though and said he was going to sign it off as being a "cold" area. There are 4 road blocks outside it and they are blocking residents that are living in there from returning to their homes with groceries and medicine for their spouses? Not sure about that one? The deputy that lives in there is different though, he and his wife travel in and out unmolested to live normally in there. There are national guard cruising around. There is a guy checking the area on his 4 wheeler, he is cool and knows the area and a lot of the residents. He is a true hero for putting out little grass fires and doing security. They don't want him doing it but many thanks to him. I hope they don't start that controlled burn they are talking about?! Another fire won't be controllable either. The firefighters have worked tirelessly out in the hills and they pass through here now and then.
