Marlene Sykes is an amazing person and artist. I knew her in 1980. She was my first "real" art teacher in Belgium. She opened my eyes to the world around me and I began to paint watercolors like I had never done before. I have exhibited internationally and it is all because of Marlene. I will never forget my first art instructor and the day I became an artist. I hope you realize what a treasure you have in this wonderful and truly talented artist.
