i happen to know these people. They were just trying to protect their family from intruders, and it happen to result in a big fight. The intruders are know throughout the town, and they are a cause of most disputes. Therefore, these 4 people should not have been put in jail for self defense.

juicy is partly correct. The victims were not model citizens, but they didn't deserve the almost fatal beating that one of them was subjected to. When this gets through the court system, the truth will be evident.

I know some of the people also.
