she's clearly a threat to society, she wont stop drinking and driving as long as she is a free woman. Clearly the state has taken every measure possible to stop her from drinking and driving, all of which she has balked at.

The lesson she has taught her daughter is worse, lock this woman up so the daughter sees there is consequences for ones actions. The best thing for the children she teaches, for her children and public safety is to lock her up for a very long time.

I've always thought this is what's so stupid about these breath tests to unlock your devices.

How much brains do you need to come up with a small device which will blow clean air into the the tube to unlock the ignition, or just have someone sober blow into it.

Ridiculous, real 'fool-proof' solution.

Sure, the intent is good, but give me a break, I'm sure if you google you can find some devices out there.

i am not sure, but the way i saw this reported, i cannot tell if she was at work at any time when she had her daughter blow clean to start her car. if she was beyond the legal limit. was she intoxicated on the clock? with our children?

why were we never told this tidbit ?

once she was caught, she was placed on paid administrative leave, thus, she was sent home, and paid with our tax dollars. until she sobered up long enough to resign. if any normal person gets caught drunk at work. they are not told to go home and we will let you know our decision later. they are fired on the spot

the whole thing is truly sad, i feel for the daughter, hopefully she can come out of this a better person, and maybe mom will spend some of my tax money on some rehab to cope with life
