J. Connell is far more experienced and brings alot more to the table than the last guy that they hired and rewarded so handsomely. Lets not forget the ringing hug and endorsement that Slamtoro got from Hayden on his final night. What more needs to be said. He was looking to keep the corruption machine intact by backing her. I think Jane Connell may have more dignity and class than this clan of inept goons are ready for. If Slamtoro gets the position at least I retain my position as designated driver.
I think its time to knock off the slams at our next superintendent. Even though we have all been exposed we are still looking out for OUR own best interest, compounded daily of course.

Jim Cassin never had administrative experience. He was a below par teacher--very good at showing movies and having students read newspaper for 40 minutes. Plus he spent more time leaving students unattended while doing union business. Mary Jo had limited experience in classroom and what administrative experience? Sure she is principal, however, the Vocational Director oversees all vocational chairs and vocational technical instructors and the Director of Curriculum oversees Cluster chairs and administrative teachers. Give Jane Connell the advantage! It is unfortunate however, that I believe this inept Committee has already decided who they will vote for before the interviews.

Now Fiona believe me your hero SHREK is hopefully on borrowed time at the voke. By the way you must be kidding when you questioned the deans of discipline and their administrative experience. Not only do they supervise part and full time employees but they are responsible (2 people)for implementing the discipline for 2000 students.I must say that all things considered they do a spectacular job.It is your hero the true Fiona Santoro who tried her best to destroy their hard work and truly succeeded in destroying the MORALE amongst the great staff at the school by shoving a discipline policy down their throats that was sold to her by some snake-oil salesman.

I think it's a shame once again what has been going on for years!! If Santoro gets the job, she will only cost the school and taxpayers MORE money due to her lack of judgement and decision making skills. She is known for putting the cart before the horse and trying to create change where it's not needed, AKA the discipline plan she tried to enforce a few years back that only blew up in her face after she talked the school committee into backing it. Alot of $$ was spent for nothing!! Santoro has no idea how to LEAD, MANAGE, AND SUPPORT her teaching staff. If she gets the job, there will only be more of the same for many more years to come! Here's another thing to think about. When people talk about back door deals, you have school committee members that have agendas for getting even more of their family members jobs and promotions. That is the ONLY reason they would vote Santoro in so she can pay them back by hiring their unqualified family members for jobs they don't deserve! It is a known fact that one of the committee members daughter wants the next promotion of Guidance Director when Murphy leaves. We know who he will vote for!! As taxpayers we vote these people in, they are responsible for helping ALL the people in the district NOT just their own family members! Vote Connell for Superintendant!!! Connell has no agenda and will do the right thing for EVERYONE involved!!!

Lets not forget M J Slamtoros mishandling of the ELL training that Slamtoro has forced down the teaching staffs throats, by ordering them all to do the training after school hours and refusing to pay them for their time in spite of the fact the district was funded by the state, to train the staff in the ELL materials during school in-service professional development days. That Slamtoro mis-management SNAFU is going to cost the district and taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars in greivance settlements, due to her complete mis-management of the situation.
