Part of the Bush tax cuts was the increase of the child credit to $1000. This tax credit helps lower income and middle class families alike, but not the very rich. I suppose we should get rid of that, should we? Not a republican or a Bushlover, just sayin.

thats the best you can do under bill clinton that credit was 1500 bucks you do realize that the tax breaks that rommy wants will give him millions every year and paul ryan hundreds of thousands of dollars also john boener and mitch mcconal and all the other rich repubs in congress they dont CREATE jobs and they are not pushin those breaks for job creation they are pushin the tax breaks for there own bank accounts its a matter of percentage rommy pays 13 and i pay 33 he needs to pony up he dont create jobs he made his from other peoples retirement funds that he raided the same thing happened to my dad and every one that worked at a factory that was coorporate raided and repubtards passed the bill that allowed companies to raid pentions so baaah sheep all worker protection is gone and repubtards did build that! with no help from dems i want to add remember if everyone voted there would never be another repubtard elected

That credit did not even exist until 1998, and then it was only $400. It was increased to $500 for 1999 and not again increased until the Bush tax cuts.

You pay 33% in taxes? The 13% is Romney's effective rate, meaning how much income did he pay taxes on after his deductions and exemptions. To pay an effective rate of 33%, you must not be married or have children and you also must make a LOT of money. I think it more likely that you do not have a working understanding of the tax theory.
