It's a relief to know that experts continue to explore and discover possibilities that may be beneficial to overall health and pave the way for newer preventive measures or treatment options. This recent study, in essence, may prove helpful in optimizing treatment and possibly reducing the risk of total kidney failure in people who are more prone to kidney problems than others, such as those with diabetes or who suffer from bouts of high blood pressure. Complete renal failure may still not be the end for patients as there are available treatment options like kidney transplant or dialysis. I read from http://www.dialysisinjuryhelpline.com/ , however, that some dialysis medications have been associated with an elevated cardiac arrest and death risk.
