Man shot dead at Uniondale barbecue

A 21-year-old man was shot dead yesterday at a Uniondale barbecue that began as a send-off party for a teenage college student, witnesses said.

I'm waiting for the flood of gun control comments to come pouring into the forum. I have a very simple question for them. Does anyone think that the shooter submitted his entire personal history to the NCPD and waited six months while being investigated to receive a pistol license? Well nobody said we are perfect people either. We have our share of "trash" as well. But, for some reason you guys can't even have a BBQ without someone getting shot. Why don't you all get with the program and act civilized. You live and act like a bunch of savages and thugs. Give that up already.
