Ed wont even get the nomination its a disgrace hes getting full time mayor salary and never at city hall. Im guessing Ron Stanley will be next Sullivan Mayor. People in Sullivan are kinda put out about mayor being picked from a gold fish bowl

you all will be very suprised who is going to run for the next mayors race in sullivan and will probably win by a land slide.the person has been campaigning behind the scene and will win.as for ed eble being mayor he has been doing a very good job,he is not allowing sue pitts to run the show
and some of the others in town ,finally a mayor with some balls,maybe they will leave brandon collins alone (greg pitts).i think it is a little to early for clint lamb,but yes he would do a good job in my eyes,again that is just my take on this.

i know alot of people do not know ed eble has a full time job and is at all the required meetings and is in city hall at night alot.this job only pays around 17 thousand a year and is know way enough to give up his full time job as an electrician.

Well if Ed knew what the job paid when he took it and it was a full time job then he shouldn't have allowed his name to be drawn from the gold fish bowl. ED in the other hand seems to be doing just fine and yes not everyone is going to agree on everything but it will work out just fine.our city is in trouble on the money side and hope for the best
but in these hard times it will be very hard for everyone to come out good on what the state is handing out.if clint runs for mayor and wins he will face the same issues im sure but he will do everything he can to help also with his hands being tied.i wish the city the very best .lets try and support our city leaders

MAyor Eble is to try the trash bag sticker system just like Lynn Hamilton drawed from a fish bowl , he just needs to stay with his union and resign from the City Of Sullivan as mayor , maybe he can handle that job more efficently than he is doing as mayor

Seems we have had plenty of mayors you could not pry out of city hall with a stick of dynamite that were not exactly the best.$17,000 is crap pay for that job any way you look at it. If you look at the amount of phone calls, email, meetings, visits to your house and the time spent doing business outside of the "office" I am sure he puts his time in and then some. The last 3 or 4 mayors that I recall all had other jobs. People have to let go of the fantasy that they will get a person to do that job for $17,000 who is not reliant on another job or does not have other major responsibilities. I don't know the man but let's use some basic reasoning skills about the amount of time the job consumes regardless of where it is done. If you think you could have done so much better then run next time.

After reading this forum I am shocked what filth is on here! Have you heard of a term called Cyber Bullying??? I have read horrible things about CHILDREN! Leave these poor children alone and realize that cyber bullying is VERY common now! If someone read the filth on this website and killed theirself because of it YOU would be liable!! You will be found because it is not hard for the police to look your computer up! Stop talking bad about children, teens, and others! It is horrible to wonder onto this site and read about young people in such a bad manner. These are decent kids and people are knocking them left and right. Has anyone ever got rude treatment at the Sullivan Board of Health? Oh my don't say a word if you have to go there,seems they are very busy even if you are paying the bill. I was shocked at the comment made to my grandchild. Wasn't our fault you were having a bad day or running late, or booked to many at the same time. Have a nice day maybe next time you will have something nice to say. Thanks for being rude.
