Suburb of Jackson, MS....capital of MS. 80 miles from Meridian

Jackson, MS

Pearl is about eighty miles west of Meridian. Pearl and Brandon join hands to make a pretty large town. Together they are larger than Meridian. Neither Pearl nor Brandon exhibits the trashy lifestyle or rotten neighborhoods you find in Jackson or Meridian. The economic depression you experience in Meridian doesn't exist in the Pearl/Brandon area.
I spend more than a little time in Brandon and will soon make that a one way trip.
