Hmmm I know plenty of practices who cater to medicare/caide patients that are doing fine. This explanation is too easy and pandering to media, and it does not address the ethical concerns of abandoning patients.

i know its hard to feel left behind but i ask you ive spent many hrs in waiting room and ive never seen her or help turn anyone down ever she just got some new help that seems good jenny she needs to make people pay a little i know there are many with no insurance and they allways get help i think maybe a momentary lapse of judgment for no clear way to get ahold of a very kind dr that wont turn down anyone her kindness is like that saint lady that helped all and it caught up with her not charging she needs our blessings not our scorn for her work

That is very altruistic indeed, but not smart. Doctors have alot of responsibility not only to their patients but to the community and the medical board. I hope she can get back on her feet.

She is a good and kind person but I saw this coming when she thought it would be okay not to pay her employees after they put their all into helping her with the practice.

Dr. Javier is always willing to go the extra mile for her patients. She is a wonderful doctor and deserves the support from her patients. She always takes the extra time to make sure you get the best care possible. Best of luck to Dr. Javier and her practice.

I have been a long time patient of Dr.Javier. I do know of people who do not have insurance and that she does see them what is so wrong with that? Just because she helps them as well as people on medicaid like myself doesn't make us any different then any of you. You have no idea how many medicaid patients get turned down from doctor's out there. All I know is she is a great doctor and people need to quit casting stones at her and let her do what she needs to do.

Doctor Javier has never abandoned me. In fact she has done everything she could do to fit me in to her her busy schedule. The doctor works very hard and is genuine. Her patients understand and are willing to wait in order to get the best care from a doctor who cares.

Dr. Javier is doing the best she can. I have been a patient for more than 2 years and through that she has helped me when I had insurance and when I didn't but she has not once abandoned me. Quite the contrary, she helped me through the deaths of my husband and daughter about 18mos ago. So now that she is in a bit of a bind, can we not kick her to the curb????

Dr. Javier is a great, caring, and knowledgable doctor. I receive the best care and medical advice from her. More than I have with any medical physician. I do understand the frustration that patients have with what is going on but I truly think she is doing the absolute best she can. When it comes down to one-on-one care she implements professional and the best care available. I absolutely stand behind her all the way and she will remain my doctor. I do hope she finds an office soon and things get back to normal, but until then lets all step back, take a deep breath, and gain a mature and understandable perspective and let her do her job. Hang in there Dr. Javier

I agree with all of the above. she is very caring and has never turned anyone away, however the business side of her business has been lacking - the billing and collecting that keeps the doors open. if here is anything I can do to help organize some of this, I would be glad to, but unfortunatley did wonder how she could operate with such a skeleton crew. wish she coudl get with a group who have the business and billing part in order, and she can just be the wonderful caring doctor that she is.

my point was that she does care for all the same. money or no money medicaid or great ins she treats all the same i know of a man who told me he has no ins and he is supposed to pay 80 ea visit i know he owns his own buisness with no kids he said he paid one time in over two years i think you dont get seen without copay she has great compasion and is one of the few that went into this field to help the sick not for a sportscar she is down to earth and very kind but i think she should hire a billing company if she was paid for half of her work there wouldnt be trouble

I have been seeing DR. javier for about 2 1/2 yrs. I have no ins. for a office she charges $50.00 (not much for a visit)that she gives you all the time you need and dosents rush you. probly about half of my visits I didnt have the money to pay for a visit and I was never turned away and i wasnt even billed.I fill so bad for her she is a very careing DR. she has been this office for about 8 mos. and when she moved into this office she shared it with 1 other DR. well that other DR. up and left. so DR javier had to pay the rent all herself so lets not kick her when she is down she cares more about her paitents than she does money

How do you have this information. Dr. Javier's employees appear to be dedicated to caring for patients and the doctor. Don't you think if they were not getting paid they would quit. I think the doctor has had enough. She and her staff are trying to accommodate all patients. I know the phone has been tied up but I have found if you keep trying you get through. Her phone number and mail address is the same none of that has changed.I would hope that the patient see she has spent quality time with each patient. Now she is struggling. She cared for you all now don't you think it is time to care for the doctor!

Dr. Javier is one of the most caring doctors that I have ever met. She is a true example the Hippocratic Oath that doctors take. She cares more about her patients than all the paper work required of doctors in this era. Therein probably lies the problem. Admittedly the front office did not run smoothly, but there is much other doctors could learn from her bed side manner.

Good luck to her.
