If they knew it was a fully involved structure fire from the moment the first engine arrived on scene why was anyone sent into the burning strucutre when they knew the women almost had to be dead from the time the first unit arrived on scene i dont see how you can take the chance and risk more lives by sending a crew in when all operations should have been from the exterior portion of the strucutre from the time crews arrived what it comes down to is no firefighters should have been in the duplex from the start!! i heard something about a possible explosion at some point? Maybe that played a factor but none the less if it was fully involved it should have been exterior operations only and maybe we wouldnt of had 1 firefighter hurt with the other fighting to stay alive
