Golden Valley was indeed fantastic, but I'm surprised not to see Reedley listed, as they were also fantastic, and garnered robust crowd approval along my street.

I was at the Boardwalk yesterday with these kids and they were polite, excited and grooving to the Boardwalk music! Kids NEED music in their lives. Support the arts!

I live on center st. and have no problem with this event. They should do this twice a year and cut out that stupid bike race!

I thought Reedley High School was very entertaining. Enjoyed the performance!

Reedley was "entertaining" but they're not going to beat Golden Valley in a band competition. They don't play a march, they stop in the middle of their performance, both of which are considered "no no's". Reedley tried to put a football field show in the street. That's not where it belongs, but it is entertaining.

Golden Valley on the other hand is one of the top 5 street bands in the state of California, going to the Rose Parade in 2009. The only band in Northern California that can come close to Golden Valley is Benicia. But they are still a distant 2nd. Hope this helps.
