Not picky enough. Just shut the school down for four years, then get a fresh start with the real majors and get rid of all the off the wall majors.

Those tenured profs are looking pretty fat and happy - teach only one class per quarter and haven't taken a cut, yet; maybe "a couple of ways" in this area.

Will UC be reducing the number of out-of-state students, legal foreign students , and illegal residents it admits in favor of accommodating more citizen-residents? I don't think so.

Just so you know, out-of-state students subsidize the cost of tuition for in-state students and students offered scholarships. I know this because it cost me around $20,000 per year to go to the University of Oregon, and that was WITH a scholarship -and I'm from Santa Cruz.

UC could make them sign a legal contract not to strike or demonstrate abut anything. That should keep a lot of
idiots out. They didn't want an education anyway.
Eliminate any classes that even remotely have anything to do with "community activism. Oh, and eject all of the so called professors who teach that radical garbage.
It ain't perfect, but it's a start!!!
