To bad she didn't have the courage to talk to her parents so that they could of helped her. My son had a very similar situation and he got himself back in school and then told me. He graduated in2007 from UCLA

She needs to spend time in jail. All that resource wasted and bc some idiot cried wolf and made up a huge lie. She needs to face consequences for her actions. She also needs to pay restitution. If she gets away with this, others will follow.

She is not a child, but an adult. Does she have a legitimate social security number or was it stolen from someone else?

You must live under a rock. 20-somethings were taught that there are no consequences for their actions.

Therefore, there will always be losers such as this chick. In fact, expect to see more & more as the years go by.

Always reassuring to read that we are still punishing those in need of real help and support. Do we really not know how to cure society's ills outside of using the law? Can we really legislate each other into better mental health?

<quoted text>This Richardson stuff is getting old. While I feel for the parents and their missing child, it's a bit much to blame the authorities for her disappearance. Society cannot babysit everyone and keep them from harming themselves. Massive sums of money and time have been expended in the search for her. If we held all bi-polar people in jail until somebody picked them up, there would be a million people in California jails alone.
Wow...u sure are an IGNORANT being!!! Do more research & see why the family is blaming the Sheriff's Dept...And to say 'the Richardson stuff is getting old'---Just hope & pray your loved one doesnt go missing due to negligence on law enforcements behalf!! How Idiotic to say something is getting old, when Mitrice is still missing!!! Damn I hate Ignorant people!!! Ugh! So in your warped mind we should just give up & not look for her anymore? How Dumb can u be?
