Cincinnati Police Complain Of 911 Nuisance Calls

Cincinnati police said they're seeing more 911 calls as the temperature warms up.

i dont believe this? i tried to call 911 today because there were a gang of young stupid black boys at my neighbors house gettin loud and 911 had the nerve to have a recording saying to hold on and if you hang up now and try to call back you will have to hold longer! This is some bullshit! yes im angry cause innocent children could have been killed! Then i called back for the third time and somebody finally answers. when i told them that i was on hold for so long and that somebody could have been killed. thier response was oh well so whats the problem now. im from new york and i can honestly say that i never had to experience nothing like this before!!!!!!!!!! come on cincinnati 911 get it together!!!!!!!!!!

Could have left out the "black" portion and I would have thought it was a legitimate complaint from a concerned or annoyed adult. However because you've chosen to add to their description that they're most certainly black and that's probably the reason you called, I'll disregard any sensibility I may have thrown your way.

911 abuse is very common. There are recordings of stupid people calling 911 on websites for laughs. I have heard them call for computer tech questions , weather reports anything you can think of.
The sad seriuos 911 abuse comes when mostly welfare/medical card recipients call for taxi service to hospital.

The complaint is still a valid complaint. Im sure there are just as many stupid white, yellow, green, and red people out there but this time it seems they were black. Obviously this person was annoyed and maybe has fallen victim of other activities as well. So sometimes out of anger things are said unintentionally just to be venting. I'm sure you have said something out of anger that was probably not completely kosher or maybe even worse. The fact is we are human and anger sometimes gets the best of people. I'm confident them being black played little part in the calling 911. It sounds like they were being disorderly and needed to be dealt with. I have recieved the same message before when calling 911 in the city. Easy way to solve the problem is move out to the country where everything is much more simple. There are many safer areas to live just outside of the city. For example New richmond where I live. Easy commute to downtown but still a country setting. Housing probably cheaper also.
