More and more we have been reading about family members trusted to take care of older family members, and they just can not contain themselves from not dipping into their accounts...unbelievably sad situation.

I think the judge should have included a years worth of community service consisting of sweeping and mopping the floor after every local Gamblers Anonymous meeting.

Another reason you do not have just one person in charge. No checks and balances until too late. If she had not been caught would she have stopped or put her aunts life at risk instead? You know that she had gambled her money away first then dipped into the aunts.
I can't say this enough, never have just one person in charge or the account. NEVER>

If she incorporates before her court date. Walkers new rules will get the charges dropped. If your incorporated you have the reich to steal in Wisconsin. Your above the law ande can not be held accountable under walkers new lawless rules. All she has to do is incorporate and she can steal just like a cop and a judge.

Well that would be one easy job. The meetings have a light turnout at best unless you
are talking Burnsville as most of the Gamblers are still out there. Your might see 15 people at most meetings. Most I have met don't have the conscience to quit so what do you do?? You will see Mistake Lake and TI grow 10 time what they are now though.
I have over 16 years at these meetings. I could write a book. This story is really a fairytale compare to most. Very addicting. Just cruise the TI parking lot on a Monday morning sometime. It's packed.
Peace

Mr. Liberal Easy Judge should have said to this thief: Get a job, work 7 days a weeks and spend every night in jail until the money is paid back!
Then we will sentence you for commiting the crime! Dunce!

I believe my brother is stealing money from my Aunts account. He has power of attourney and also hasa lawyer set to oversee the accounts......Can he be stealing? She lives in a nursing home and he pays all of her bills. In recent months since he has taken over her accounts he has been spending money thathe should not have coming up with excuses as to how they got money.
