Recently the Elmwood Village Board attempted to file a restraining order against this Editor, and failed to do so. The Court however did make a order for the village clerk. The filings are all under apppeal, but at the same time, the clerk continues to use the Village Attorney for her personal issues. This should not be allowed. The Citizens would not agree to pay the costs, when the evidence on the case is all hearsay, and all been started by the clerk herself, from the first phone call to the police to the court hearing, to all the claims that have continued through the attorney to the court commissioner asd judge. I am the person she filed this against and I did not even get a defense attorney, and the case was not allowed to be left as teh Village against me, so why would the case be allowed to follow through at all? I would hope that someone can give me a answer, or maybe at least your feelings on why the Citizens are responsible for her personal problems.

Rick, it is sad to inform you, but the person that is costing money in Elmwood is you. I believe that the school district has spent over $143,000.00 because of your family antics |

Good People of Elmwood,
It is time to actively support the elected officials on our Village Board and School Board. There are many of us who have been elected to serve the village and school system. There is a process by which the governing officials are elected and are changed. It is called “voting”. In the past we have used this process to make changes. These officials that are now in place on these Boards are the people that we have elected democratically. It is my personal opinion that they are doing a fine job. Yet, Mr. T is challenging every decision, no matter how major or trivial. Where is the “trust”? Boards are balanced by the way in which they are elected. Only a few are changed each year, if there is a need. This is done by us, the voters of Elmwood and the surrounding school district. We must trust their decisions because we are the people that elected them. Mr. T has no trust in anyone. Going further into the system, he mistrusts and verbally attacks the law officers, court officials, clerks and the judges. We the people must make a stand against Mr. T. The way I see it, anyone who stands with him is against all the democratic procedures by which we live. |

Mr. Dude, you must have gone to the same school as Mr. T. Your grammar, spelling, and sentence structure are the same. Or, are you really Mr. T?

thanks---I will continue to watch over the issues and the responses by the board, in the attempt to get common sense or at least some point of view to them, other than the bar companions they seem to get all there info. from. I write in a blog www.elmwoodcitizen.blogspot.com if you would like to see more of what I have been doing with the interest of the Village Board here. |

Did you know that a Village board member or any employee of the village is not allowed to use his/her position for their own personal advantage? Which means, keep personal village life separate from professional village life. That's a hard life to lead in a small town with small town politics and close knit relationships.
