what the he11? this is ridiculous! his family should be ASHAMED of themselves as well! his family reportedly said to the victim's family "we hate you". WHY??? the victim and his family did nothing wrong. if you ask me, this guy got off easy - he should be suffering the same fate as HE granted to Nathan Potter!

That was truly hard to hear and see. But I couldn't make out why he had to be restrained in such a manner. I saw him standing. Or maybe it was something he said. Life . . . wow. A lesson learned I hope. A lesson learned for Jackson too late.

With a family like that, is the road he took in life surprising at all. Not to me.

So the "family" bought him a bus ticket!?! They should be held as accomplices’ or for aiding & abetting!!(Except for the one that had the sense to turn him in!!)

To the family of Nathan Potter, my condolences to family and friends. To the Jackson family, it is appalling the outburst that took place in the court room. Kudos to the family member who turned him in. It is good to know that people still have a conscience and morals to see justice should be served. As far as the Jackson family hating the Potter family, take a look in the mirror and hate yourself for raising a careless, disrespectful, murderer of a son. At least you will have the opportunity to see your son, maybe behind glass, but he will be alive. As for the Potter family, they can only dream of who and what their son could have became as they are visiting his grave. So for the Jackson family, as you are crying "My baby, oh LORD my baby, no justice" I hope you take the time to send a prayer and heart-felt apology to the family and friends of the young, innocent, college student, whom your baby took from this world. And, while you are at it, ask forgiveness to your maker for spawning a murderer who felt he needed to take a person's life for pocket change. No need not play the race card at this point for injustice. I am a African-American who has made the right choices, worked, put myself through college, and took my place in society as a honest hard-working citizen, like so many others that did not grow up with economic stability. It may be tough for us but not impossible. We all choose our own path. Placing blame on deprivation, etc., is lazy and a sorry excuse for anyone, black, yellow, white, etc.. When it is all said and done, two lives were taken. With one young man not having a voice or a choice in the matter. Justice was not served. I say an eye for an eye, and let GOD sort it out later. It's much easier and cost effective than using tax payers dollars for housing murderers, etc.

What an idiot! Not much else to say other than glad he is gone for life. However, we still have the idiots who raised him out on the streets!

Seandell is a monster!!! Again Judge Dallett comes through for the citizens of Milwaukee!!! To Seandell's family: YOU ARE ALL SCUM AND ARE LEACHES ON SOCIETY. Maybe if you had raised him with some morals this wouldn't of happened. I hope that the rest of your lives are full of pain and sorrow. To Nathan Potter's family: What a tragedy, I am sorry for your loss.

You hit the nail on the head. I can't believe they were sobbing. I can only say out of sadness for whom their child became. He made his own decision to kill Mr. Potter, but to tell the victim's family they hate them? Only God judges...but right on miss, and let me say it doesn't matter what color you are, we all bleed red. You are an upstanding citizen, and your morals are incredible. I beg you to come to our schools and teach all kids these things.
