Yes the milwaukee policr should stop chasing after cars because they killed my kids father back in 2004 of july drew to a traffic stop thank you very much for allowing the change it is time that someone is hearing our voices its been hard because the courts or the cheif never wanted to hear the stories of what milwaukee police been doing for years now its a law that they have to stop chasing these cars for no serious reason thank you for listening and passing that LAW.
It's not a law it's a policy. It can be changed as easily as it was passed. Just an FYI. Flynn isn't going to be around forever.

Ya know whats funny and it has nothing to do with Milwaukee but it does with the police and I feel like sharing my story. Last night on my way to work in Sussex at around 18:30pm, I was behind a cop who didnt make a proper stop at a light, then pulled into the incorrect lane and the cop was doing approximately 65pm in a 45mph(I was doing 55 and was losing ground, and he had no lights, sirens etc). He changed lanes twice with no signals and was basically driving like a azz down 164. All of the sudden a cop came behind me who was also flying and driving like a azz. As soon as he got behind his buddy they all of the sudden slowed down. I caught up to them at the next set of lights where they headed east on Hwy K(still no sirens/lights etc). But they somehow managed to do the speed limit on that road and then one turned down duplainville and turned into a business while the other one continued east on K..So thanks officers for driving like dikheads for no reason whatsoever. I wish I had a dash cam for those idiots..I'd call and complain but i'd get some BS cover up story. again nothing to do with Milwaukee, i just felt like complaining

I agree 100%- if you were to call and complain, "the brotherhood" would make the issue go away in a heartbeat with some lame excuse.

I have seen Milwaukee police do all sorts of "creative" driving over the years. They speed excessively (often with no headlights in the middle of the night), go the wrong way up one-way streets, make illegal U-turns, etc. I'm not talking about when they are actively looking for someone or in pursuit - this is while they are simply "patrolling". They are above the law, and they know it - there's no way they're going to get ticketed while driving a police vehicle, so they do as they please whenever they like. The one I see frequently is the "turn on the lights to run a red light then turn them off" game. They're in no hurry, mind you - they (like all of us) just don't like sitting at a red light.

On the issue of chasing "suspects", I think something does have to be done to limit the innocent folks getting into accidents as a result of the chase, but announcing that people who flee will no longer be pursued is not the answer. As has been stated previously in this forum, it's like giving permission to the bad guys to escape justice by doing a little reckless driving. Furthermore, they will still cause accidents while doing so, I'm sure.

Good citizens - leave Milwaukee now before things REALLY get out of hand!

They were probably going to a "no lights, no siren" call. Sometimes PoPo doesn't use their lights and sirens when they are on a run. Why? Because if they do that, the BAD GUYS can see and hear them coming a mile away, especially in the country.

Ya gotta love these stupid internet loonies who crawl out of the woodwork, making all sorts of moronic, asinine and unprovable claims just to make a point.

Hey Pam, considering your intelligent post, Wisconsin should pass a law making retro-active abortion; legal.
