The ghost of Grand Ave.
The building has always intrigued me. Whenever I drive down W. Wisconsin Ave., I pause at N. 26th St. to take in the singular creation on the northeast corner.

As a lifelong Downtown resident I'm pained with the diminishment of the Grand Avenue. And I can only hope that we stop the old tradition of thinking we must draw the "Upscale" element to Downtown. Instead, we have to look at today's retail operations which draw the most shoppers. And that being large discount stores and supermarkets (Walmart and Pick & Save).
