An Enid soldier known for his dedication to the military and his family was one of four U.S. soldiers killed by an explosion in Iraq, his family said Monday.

Thank you for fighting for me,my family and my friends. Defending our freedoms and those of others. My family is military, and I know the dangers. But they go as a call from God, Bless all our troops. Support them all, they are our past, present and future.

I usally do not reply to comments like this, but I think i will this time. I do not think anyone in America is celebrating the death of anyone. I, and many others, feel they are protecting us. I know war sucks, but it will happen. I have not forgot the day I saw the twin towers fall, or the OKC bombing. I still pray for the families of those people. i watch the news, I have friends serving right now in Iraq. My father, mother, aunt, uncles all have served your country for you. You say it is not for our freedom, well I do not want my children to be afraid to go outside for fear of a bomb might kill them. If we do not win in Iraq, those people will come back to America, and the war will be in your back yard. I do not want that. The soilders are there for your freedom, if not for them, you would not be able to come into this forum and type your post. You may be against war, but you should always support your troops. You have been spoon fed crap thinking it was cotton candy. How are "they" going to get over here? In my back yard to boot!!! How was Saddam threatening my freedom? The solders wernt the ones who decided to invade Iraq, but puppets at the end of a string, and Bush and Cheney are the puppet masters. This arguement about if your against the war that you some how dont support our troops is just smoke and mirrors from the neo-cons. It is widely known now that invading Iraq was a monumental blunder, based on outright lies. So we should just keep sending our sons and daughters to kill more Iraqis will make us safer? It is just making more enemies for the USA and makind us less safe.

When your old man is the president of the US and the biggest cheerleader for the war, it's the least they could do, at least join and Im sure daddy could pull some strings so the dont enter into combat. But I guess being a chicken hawk is heredatary.
