even Alexander the Great, one of the greatest conquerers and rulers of all time was gay...
hmmm...you didnt think that one out well, did you?
Sorry, Woody but "gays" didn't exist back then. The use of the word "gay" to denote homosexuality, also a relatively recently coined word to describe same sex sexual behavior, is only a few decades old. No rainbow flags among Alexander the Great troops.

i just strive for clarity.
Clarity? Why not just keep it simple, men and women. You can even use SSA (same sex attraction)Save the sexual identity labels for the monthly rainbow club meetings.

because conjugal marriage also includes men and men, and women and women...that would not be clarity.

You approve of incest marriage? Religious fundie type polygamy? I find that very hard to believe. But if you say so and it's really true, I take it back that you are a hypocrite. If it's not true of course you are a liar.
if all the laws can be changed to make them equal to the legal marriages we have now, i have no problem with them at all. said so many times...

religious fundie marriages have nothing to do with real marriage legal marriage is what we are talking about. religious rites of matrimony hold the same weight as a group of people dancing around a fire and waving sticks...

Same sex sexual behavior existed, yes, a rainbow flag waving bumper sticker on the chariot identity, no.

Fundamentalists have a substantial first amendment right to marry according to the dictates of their faith. Your support for marriage equality extends to them I hope? It sure doesn't sound like it.

Even if they wave sticks and dance around fires, they deserve the same equal protection of the law as you.

they most certainly do, once they have a legal marriage.

Wood Stocked up and ready to go for winter, sooner or later winter will come.

So they have a right to marry once they are married? Priceless. You need to rethink that.

Polygamy deserves the same respect and consideration as same sex marriage.

It's a condominium. We (the homeowners, collectively) own the land as well as the building. I pay the homeowner's association to have a 24 hour front desk/concierge, pool, gym, full time staff of 9, and full maintenance of the grounds and building. And FYI, "almost paid off" means the mortgage is almost paid off and then I have at least $500K of equity. This means if I sell I walk away with $500K less closing costs.

Yeah, kookaa's "luxury condo" (cheesy apartment) that's "almost paid for" (section 8 rent subsidy on our dime).
I own a house on each coast, real houses with land and sh!t and a I have a vacation cabin on leased land. No mortgages. But no one's house is ever really "paid for" with the moochers having their hands out for property taxes which if you don't pay they take your house just like a mortgage.
I have no mortgage but I have to pay kookaa's rent. You can't win.
By the way I paid for my houses without the married tax breaks. Being single I pay for the tax breaks for the married whiners like kookaa. And now there's a whole new group of moochers getting tax breaks for me to subsidize while they whine I'm a big meany bigot.
Whoop!~Whoop! BBQ time!
I do not pay rent. I own a luxury high-rise condo with an ocean view, FYI. And in about another year, no mortgage. BTW, section 8 refers to government assistance on rental property, not privately owned condos. So educate yourself before you spout off.
