Nice post George. Tierra Shores is a great place to live, just make sure you are informed and have done your research before you make a purchase there.
BTW, for "Ur and idiot", why do you care what happens in T.S.? We are a very small and gated community. We don't bother anyone outside of our area and don't plan on it. We are very upfront about our expectations regarding behavior, conduct, appearance and safety. Nothing is a secret, it's all available.
I think common scense my slip past some people, take your gatd community and shove i you know where, if you got a problem with a neighbor, speak to them, if the noise, dirt bikes, whatever is too much for you, possibly you should have bought a bigger property, or just go back to Orange County, which was destroyed 30 plus years ago by BS like this, but for christs sake, leave us and our lifestyle alone out here, some of us dont want to be machines.

I want to bring attention to the many health risks of living in Tierra Shores. I myself have over $40,000.00 in medical bills due to illness related to many environmental agents and toxins present in industrial waste such as leakage from Wilderness Lakes septic tanks, a live stock dairy farm (4,000 cows), A chicken farm (1 million) and nearby crops that lay sludge toxins and Tierra shores is downwind from all these toxins. Neither the Septic leakage nor chicken farms were disclosed at any time or in any portion of my buyer’s contract. Many former home owners of Tierra Shores have moved due to illness even death in their family. People are dying from Tierra shores I know of 3 in the past year many others are very ill anything from liver failure , heart, gastro intestinal disease, allergies, asthma, Thyroid disease, anxiety and other symptoms of living near a live stock farms. I have never seen so many people sick or die in one neighborhood this scares me. These farms pollute the air in many ways, emitting foul odors, airborne particles, greenhouse gases, and numerous toxic chemicals like Hydrogen sulfide, methane, ammonia, and carbon dioxide are the major hazardous gases produced by decomposing manure. Check out this website. AND THAN RUN FROM THIS PLACE http://www.sustainabletable.org/issues/airpol...
I find so much information when I Google living near live stock farms. This Place is a health hazard and someone needs to do something.
*People who live near or work at factory farms breathe in hundreds of gases.
*The researchers, from Utrecht University, measured increased levels of particulate matter containing microbes and microbial toxins near livestock farms.
*Pollution from Livestock Farms Threatens Public Health

What can we do to have someone check the air quality over here. I never worried about the dairy farm but just like you I didn't know about the chicken farm or the RV park dumping human feces. There was a mention of birds when we closed on our home but we didn't realize they meant a chicken farm. It was glossed over by the bank when we asked about it. They just said there were birds by the homes. Who doesn't have birds near their homes? We live on that side of the community also so we get the full force of any smell coming from it and we all have had an increase in Asthma symptoms and Allergies.

good luck trying to get rid of them. We have been here 3 1/2 years and haven't figured out how to get rid of them yet. They are disgusting. Check out your ceiling in your house. Every place they land they leave poop droppings so there are little brown spots everywhere and it's not an easy place to clean.

The sewage problem at wilderness lakes SHOULD be the least of your worries, check out the meagans law sex offender site and enter the campground address ! 2 years ago they had 6 of these "offenders" living on the grounds,.....I wonder how many people took their kids/grandkids there NOT knowing ? my grandkids used to catch the school bus there..........till I found the listing. The mgmt. at the campground will NOT discuss this with ANYBODY. I was "escorted" off the property one time when I walked thru the campground passing out fliers alerting campers to the situation. I've lived at the other end of Briggs rd. for over 36 years, I have NO sympathy for ANY of the Tiera shores people in regards to the "country" smells !!! WTH did ya think when you did the 1st walk thru BEFORE you bought ?

Is there any current information as to the "smell"? The people that posted about contacting the authorities, did anything come of it?

The smell has mostly been taken care of. Of course every now and then you can smell the dairy but the main problem was not the dairy, it was the Wilderness Park Campground and the city and supposedly the board handled that. They were dumping their bodily wastes into a hole over there and they got in trouble. That is what I have been told at least. That was dealt with back around 2009-2010. Since then it has not been bad. If you do move into the community I am looking to putting a list together if you need any help with work around the house. I have recently spent a fortune on hiring people who I have found or have sent around their business cards to have services done around the home. I just recently placed an ad on the Internet and had so many inquiries within a few mintutes of people looking for work no matter how small a job, and for a rate I thought was reasonable. It most likely was more than what these people that quote ridiculous prices would actually pay the same person. There also seems to be several young college kids needing flexible work. Good luck in decision.

You do not want to move to Tierra Shore the HOA are very rude and love to harass people. The pick on every little thing . I know the market is bad but look if you can get a 5 bedroom home for $160000 take that as a warning that the community sticks and that is the truth. on top of bad HOA the are smells all the time like S***t from all the dairies and chicken I can not wait to get out of this place the kids are bad and now the HOA is harassing my kids which are half the time at their dads. They are trying to point the blame on just about anyone. Complaints made about stuff that are not even true, some of them make me laugh and I have learned to deal with them but now it is getting out of hand... They are just running people out, most people on the board are old people that have nothing better to do with their time to just walk around finding people to right up. On top of this were is all the money going no more security and the lake is crap. Were is it going to does anyone know that?

Amen to, sayitsnotso. I don't like it here either. Got to PAY MONEY to have the HOA APPROVE a yard change etc. I feel like everyone is a spy. Just a bad place to live. I also think we the people should do an internal audit of the books.

BS... that Tierra shores smells sometimes or it has been taken care of... come on 4,000 cows pooping every single day along with a million chickens??? I Lived in that place for 5 years by 2 pm time to close up the house (and brings the kids inside) the smell would seep through the bathroom fans till late at night. Now that I am gone and to be able to open up my house whenever I want I don't know how I lasted that long in that horrible place that made me and all my neighbors deathly sick on top of it. Think 4,000 cows pooping a day or more and the tractors have to plow that sh%t everyday and the wind blows right at Tierra shores every single day where do you think those poop particles go...plus methane gas is 100 times worse than car pollution so you people who aren't worried about the cows and chickens are crazy. These aren't your ma and pa farms these are huge factory farms. I am sure you all heard about Wildomar and the illnesses and death of a woman... well good old Tierra Shores was built on contaminated soil plus the toxins from the farms. While I was their 3 people dropped dead and ALL of us were sick on my street .

I just bought here, the only concern is a neighbor complaining then when the law said we cannot do what they asked, we started noticing the same day, that someone was in our yard, and throwing our chips around, and unhooking our water hose, and left a sign on our property saying this is our house get out in gold make up. we aren't accusing anyone, but it didn't happen until after we could not do what they wanted. and the zillions, I mean zillions of flies, we were not warned about, we were told more during summer, not infestation. But, we are dealing with it. We believe in live and let live, if your house has screaming kids that sound like an out of control daycare and I hear you screaming way inside my house while my TV is blasting, I don't complain. I rather hear that than bombs and bullets in afghanistan any day. It is part of living next door and close.

I don't feel bad for any of you.

Before I bought my current home, and all my previous homes, I visited the property for several days and at different times of day. You want to know if your neighborhood is quiet during the work day, are their loud parties on weekend evenings, is the place swarming with kids after school, etc. if you did this, the smell from the dairy and/or chicken farm would be obvious. I drive through that area at around 7am almost every morning and that area reeks! It has to be worse in the warmer afternoon.
