Yep. It is just about ready to fly.( For Katie's birthday.) Lots about Katie, domestic violence, signs of an abuser, etc.. When the trial starts we will have a court update page as well. Justice for Katie!!!!

So many good ideas of ways to keep Katie on peoples minds have surfaced and it sounds like the immediate family is putting everything into motion. I really want to do something to contribute so I thought sending money to the memorial fund may be the most helpful thing I can do. This way "Katlyns Sister" and parents can spend the money where they see fit.
I remember a local restaurant had offered to do a dinner to contribute to the memorial fund. It would be nice if that was held around the time of the beach party so us family members from far away could attend and contribute.
My brother and I both plan to come up for the weekend.

I am in charge of starting the benefit dinner or rather am the one who will be running it on the restaurant side of things. I think holding it right around that time would be a good idea also. I will talk with L and A about it some more tomorrow and see when they think we should do it.

Awesome ideas you guys!(or gals...)I think those are really good ideas and will help a lot when the time rolls around, because more people would be able to attend.And it would make a lot of people's day that they can help contribute.I think it is helpful during the healing process.for the family and the community, who wish they had more to give or be able to find the words. It is much easier for people to put in their feelings and ideas too.I think the website is a really nice idea.Hopefully there will be lots of pics of her on there so people can visit her when they need and see her smiling face when they need strength.Have a nice day- I am thinking of you all.

Tomorrow is Katie's 23rd birthday. It also will mark nine weeks since the awful day. My thoughts are with Katie's family. I love you guys.

there will be signs up saying Katlyns Celebration in Rainbow colors!!!!!!!! Go north on HWY 1 till you get to the 75.43 mile marker.....it is after Ten Mile bridge, Seaside BEach, and Abaloebadia. It is on a hair pin turn that will wind down to the ocean and beach. See ya there!!!!!! Look for surfers and a ton of cars and blue and purple balloons!!!!!!!!

Katlyn's death was a hard hit. We shall not rest until she has some justice. Thank-you to those that are considering coming out to the benefit dinner Aug. 29, 5:00 P.M. at the Bay View Cafe' in Mendocino. Proceeds will go towards a scholarship for a derserving student at the College of the Redwoods. Please come and support a good cause and get a great meal. There will be a raffle as well, with some very nice items from many generous individuals.
