4 suspended in Mendenhall school fight

It's a typical high school fight. Four students at Mendenhall High School have been suspended following a fight Monday. via The Clarion-Ledger

what happen at mendenhall high school should have not had happen.i feel the school personnel at mendenhall high has let all our students and parents down.what has happen to teaching our kids to set goals and achieve those goals.there are kids at mendenhall high and other schools that want to learn but u have teachers and other personel at some of these schools especially mendenhall high and the jr high that all they are there for is to be paid for nothing. put prayer back in school and u will see a big differnce. i think the 4 boys that attacked the other student should be punished for what they done.people are saying its a race issue but everybody ask your self this if it had been 4 white boys attacking a black student it would have been the same.

Im from Mendenhall and went to school at the Jr high and High school. Would or Has race been a factor when it comes to disipline? I want to cuss but it has and always will be there. Thats why I found a way and will not be caught back for no more than three days and thats if I dont get into a deep depression there. I remember I had gotten in to a fight white a guy that was white( I dont like to lable but he is of that race) during a lunch period. Because I was a grade or two senior than this kid who by the way was almost twice my 150 to 160 frame, I was suspened by I dont want to call name the of a coach that did so but lets on of the basketball coaches. I was suspended for 3 days plus a week of after school detention. While on the other hand this guy was suspended on day and was allowed to continue to participate in sport activities. Far right? No hard feelings. I will still say whats up to the coach if I saw him. Jack McAlpin is by far one of the most racist principles that I have ever encountered that works in the Simpson county School district. To sum up my point, Mendenhall has always and will continue to have a double standard for handling everything from town issues down to school board issues as well as arrest and policing procedures. As soon as I can afford it, may family mother father sister and her kids will be moved out for a better quality of life and well being.
