Oshkosh street fight was gang related

A clash between members of two rival gangs caused a large street fight Tuesday night, police officials say.

I know that people think there are safety in numbers, but it is like an ongoing thing... first one person gets together with friends and decided to get ahold of the people who have "done them wrong" (or whatever), then other people get together to save themselves against people who they have done wrong... it is an ongoing thing. There are better ways to save yourselves than joining a gang. How can people allow themselves a future if they believe there is none because of the violence they are adding to? I agree... Wisconsin has a bunch of little kids who "wanna be" gangsters, and have no idea of how they will keep their futures from getting any brighter.

Agreed... there are many more generations to be born out there. I think we can all find something better to do than get into gangs without a purpose. Appleton and the Fox Cities are not a place that needs gangs. There is no point... what are you fighting for?

Its all just a front, in reality these "wannabes" dont have to fight for turf, but they are just as usful to the shot callers than the footsoliders you see on the streets of chi-town, but, thats because you cant hustle on the street (yet) in the fox cities. Nevertheless a gang still has to have rep and will fight till death against a rival. Noone gets the clue not even some of my own. Its not about the colors, its not about being a Folk or People. It is about one thing... Oh yea one more thing. I think the Appleton pigs are just a bunce of wanabees also. They took the wannabees side when I got jumped one time when I was working at the Appleton center. They told me I was making the story up because the wampy punks took off after they knocked me down and the pigs give me a ticket for obstruction. But I got out of it. I think the punks on College Ave, The Appleton pigs and The Nazi mayor are all in on some corruption in Appleton. After all I was fired from my job at the Appleton center for something I din't do. I was set up by the Mayor for sending threatning email. Then I tried to move back to Appleton after being gone for a couple years and I was set up again by my brothers landlord at the time. Jim Hicks and the neighor next door. Why are these wannabees so protected? Why aren't they chased out of town. Because they are selling drugs for Mayor Hanna and the cops know it.

Gangs are an unimaginative, uncreative, primitive, barbaric, unintelligent craps.

Years ago in Oshkosh, a resident never saw
people just sitting around on the street
doing absolutely nothing. If people were out and about, they were walking to go into a store or going to the library, or whatever. They had a purpose. Now, though, what does a resident see?

A different culture has come to our city. A culture that really is unimaginative, uncreative, primitive .....the big "L" kind of people. The "L" stands for lazy and looser.

Sure they form gangs because they are big "L" kinds of people. They are idiots.

What our city should do about this problem is be mean to these "L" kinds of people and maybe they won't feel welcome...they aren't welcome because they don't fit in with the culture that is here and has been here, a culture that is hard working, imaginitive, creative, intelligent, sophisticated, and just plain winners.

So get out of town and go back to the holes that birthed you all. Take your sorry, big "L"-can't-speak-or-w rite-an-English-word-

This cat that posted above me really went on a banter, talking about "years" ago. I know its hard for you to understand but, the world grows everyday, and eventually people that have to fight to survive in the ghettos have to move away. Some of them make it to other big cities and the cycle is unnoticed, but when these inner city kids come into suburban america it can have a relitive impact. It is society, media potrays the "Gangster" life style as the last real warriors battling it out everyday on the streets. through music,t.v.,and movies. These kids have no attention span, its easy to pry them away from the t.v. and make them believe they can have their very own "ghetto" life. Apparently the parents of these children must accept it, because their the ones buying the albums, buying the cloths and most certaily PARENTING the children Its not my fault or any gangs fault for recruiting wannabes or young kids. Most of them come from broken homes PLEADING for someone to pay attention to them. And that is when we have them hooked...

I grew up in "the ghetto" of Oakland California and anyone who knows Oakland knows that it is rough, gang infested. There were several gangs in my neighborhood but I was never stupid enough to be jumped in and actually join one. Now I am an attorney and thank god I survived and kept my head on straight enough to get the hell out of the ghetto and if i could do it, so could anyone else. You can work hard to be a nothing or you can work hard to be someone. I chose the latter.
