Colton Meyers, 17, of Wild Rose, killed in Waushara County crash...

A 17-year-old boy from rural Wild Rose died and another 17-year-old boy from Wautoma was seriously injured Thursday morning when the car they were in apparently failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by a pickup truck.

Colton was an awesome kid,,im gonna miss him like crazy. i really wish we would have gotten to hang out alot more. you will forever be in my heart and never forgotten. its so sad cuz you were just at my house the night before an then just like that you're gone. i will always remember your smiling face and wonderful personality,,and all of our "serious" talks...lol. You will forever be missed by everyone.
