Moving to Mena Ark

I would like to know if anyone can give me some information on moving to Mena . We are looking for a House to rent In Mena or around the Shady area It will just be for a few months till our house sells where we are from then we will buy in Mena so if anyone has any info or know of someone that has some rentals please let us know it will be me my wife and 2 kids ages 6 and 2 . please let me know all about this town please . my wifes family is from there and she had got laid off at cessna so she wants to move down so i'm trying to find out everything there is to know Thanks

You might want to ck out the income level, I made a third of what I am making in KS, unless you own your own business, you are out of luck, the people are nice, butttt you have to eat, and the prices are higher and the income lower, taxes are lower, so......

I heard that Mena was trying to get rid of the 4 wheel rides in Wolf Pen gap. If this happens many businesses will loose alot of money. Hotels, restaurants, Walmart. These people come from all over just to ride in the mountains and see the beautiful city of Mena. I can remember when Mena had very little income coming in. No jobs to be found and I had to sell my home there and move to Texas just to work. So please don't get rid of the rides in the mountains this brings money into the area. Food, clothing, parts, tires, hotels are all part of this that these visitors buy from Mena. IThink about the economy before you react to stopping the rides in Wolf Pen Gap. I now live in Athens Texas but would love to move back home to Mena.
