You me to tell me that that room has been rented five times and no one complained of an odor? The housekeepers didn't notice anything. What type of police investigation did they do? Undoubtedly the room ws never searched!

What a horrible end to this woman's life.

Memphis police should have done a more thorough search and the staff at the hotel should have also searched more carefully. Then again, this being a Budget Motel on Brooks, why would a foul smell be suspicious. Most of these motels are a disgrace and should be closed down.

I guess I'm really confused with this story. If the police knew that she had been staying at the Budget Inn, wouldn't they have searched the room with with a fine tooth comb to try to find any signs????? This story is just terrible!!!

I am really sorry for the woman and her children. I am REALLY sorry for the people who slept inches above a dead person. I will be certain to look under the beds of any hotel room I ever stay in again.

how is his name can a person go missing without the POLICE actually SEARCHING the last known place where she was? U mean to tell me none of these so-called EXPERTS thought to look under the bed, or swipe it for clues? It just goes to show you that we have some corrupt people in these lil positions just for the sake of having a lil power!

And my father, the people who stayed in the room with the dead body, you mean to tell me you didnt notice or smell anything decaying?!!!!!!!!!

This is horrible and that hotel should be shut down or the housekeeping people need to be thrown out on their heads!

I guess the next time that I stay at a motel I'm gonna have to lift up the mattress and check underneath it. I thought I was doing good taking my own sheets, blankets & pillows! That poor family! I am so sorry her life had to end like that, but at least now they finally have some closure by finally finding her. Now, to find out who did it.....

OMG! the room has been rented out several times and no one noticed the smell. Its a terrible way for a young woman to lose her life and my prayers go out to her family. The hotel and the detectives work is very questionable at this point.

My prayers go out to Ms. Bennett, Ms. Linda, Sony's 5 kids, and the entire Millbrook Family. I will continue to pray for your strength through this storm. I pray for your closure and healing after the person that did this has been caught.

Really people? What do you expect from a department that has absolutely no leadership at the top. The citizens of memphis should be outraged!

Doesn't seem like a thorough search was done to find this missing lady.

This is udderly ridiculous! The Memphis Police Dept. is a joke and is being paid for a job that they are not doing effectively! I cannot believe that if someone was reported missing, but was known to be staying in a motel, why wasn't that particular room thorougly searched? As for the Motels' housekeeping workers they obviously are not cleaning the rooms good either if they did not notice the smell of a dead body underneath the bed. My sympathy and prayers go out to her children and family.

When the Motel packed up her things- They should have lifted the matress to see if she has anything under there. Then she would have been found. I blame the Motel. It make me wonder- do the matresses ever get rotated. I once workes @ a motel (nasty job) I know the bed spreads only get cleaned about once a month.

The police director is too busy covering up shit for his cronies and his kids to actually fight crime. Combine that with his little-man-syndrome and you have have a completely impotent leader. It's only gonna get worse before the Feds finally finish their sweep!
