Guns...guns everywhere. Kinda like the wild west. Run down to the nearest convenience store and you may not return. Time to pack and get on the next stage coach.

I am still in complete shock. I reside on Whitman Avenue a few houses away from the scene of this most tragic incident. I did not know the deceased gentleman, but I have heard nothing negative about him. My condolences to his his family and those that knew him. I didn't sleep well last night knowing how really tragic this could have been with the great number of children playing close to the scene. Senseless? Probably. None of us know for sure what precipitated the violence. I would have never known there was a MC club on Collins if not for the occasional motorcycle roaring down the street. Never heard a peep out of them. That is what makes this so hard to fathom. I do not know the answer to all the violence. But when it occurs so close to home, boy it sure makes you ponder possible solutions.

Duck is going to be ok, and some of the papers are reporting that he shot the man that died. My understanding is that he didn't shot anyone, was just an innocent victim.

Sorry that should have been some of the news stations, not the papers. Haven't read anything in them about it, so I wouldn't know.

10. Memphis, Tennessee (Democrat-majority, no surprise here folks)
Population: 670,100

***Memphis has one of the worst violent crime rates in the country, and was ranked third by Forbes in its list of miserable cities for corruption by city officials.

***As for political corruption, reportedly nearly one public official per month over the last decade has been charged with public corruption.

in times like these you wish to give statistics and political views on corruption of this city. if you have nothing to say on this incident or remembrance for those hurt by it, them take it elsewhere. really

that club cleaned the drugs and drug dealers off that street when they moved in. so that it was safe for the kids to play on it again. and as for you racist remarks that only speaks to your own ignorance.

My daddy rides with Family. They are wonderful guys who just love having a good time. My heart is completely broken by this whole situation. Earl was a wonderful--cut up type of guy. I will miss him giving a HARD time when I'd call for my dad. R.I.P. Earl! You will be missed dearly!
"You really don't know what to think, you know. My most concern is my kids. My kids was in their own yard when this happened, and by that bullet scraping that other child, that could have easily been one of my kids that got killed today," Whiteside said.
They say these things, but they don't realize where they are living!! Do you expect things to be like the burb's when you live on that side of town!?!?! Come on people! Memphis rated #10 on the Top 10 WORST cities to live in, in the US!!!(But the actual GANGS are not bad ppl are they!??!)
