To "investigate this Apostle"-get a life. You don't care nothing about that man's wife and kids. If you did, you wouldn't be on here with that mess!!!! You have a personal vendetta for whatever reason. Go and face them face to face and stop trying to spread what you perceive to be their business on here. Why are you so "concerned" and I use that word very loosely about what's going on over there? I bet you are a former member that feel like someone over there "wronged" you. Sweetie this is not about you in any shape form or fashion. It's a shame before God that you would be on here saying this kind of stuff. I hope that you feel better but I can guarantee you that you don't.

What is the purpose of that? Is your life so petty that you take pleasure in trying to rake others over the coals. Everything that goes wrong in a church isn't always the Pastor. You know how I know-because a bunch of you go to church. Christian people pray for others even when they don't know what's going on instead of trying to kick people. You better take heed to the word of God-"touch not my annointed..." I thank God that He is God and not any of you!!! If God was like man, the world would be a much worse place to be. Apostle & Dr. Anderson and Solid Rock-hold your heads up because God will get the glory in this. The ones that are trying to rejoice in what they deem to be your downfall will soon be praying for God's grace and mercy.
With all due respect, I don't know anything about Solid Rock, but I do know that you are just as bad as the posters that you're condemning. You made the comment: "Surely you can't proclaim to love God and be a Christian and out of the same mouth spew such venom."

Well...

You're doing the exact same thing by criticizing the people on this forum that you don't agree with. You've called them non-Christians, hypocrits. They maybe "spewing venom", but so are you!

It's funny how people outside of a situation love to lie, go on what they think, and never really want the truth. ECCU has done this same thing to many churches across the country including one of the largest ministries in Florida (Without Walls Church), that was started by Randy & Paula White. Before you speak about anything, research it! ECCU was in a cash crunch and even went to the Federal Reserve for help, but then withdrew its request. I wonder why? Suddenly they started strong arm tactics on churches. They asked churches to sign one-sided modifications, sign over all their intellectual assets(that means, books, videos etc.), and of course foreclosure and resale. They don't necessarily lose in a foreclosure, particularly when they have received payments, and withheld construction payments.
Enough about ECCU. Apostle Anderson & Dr. Anderson, took $60k of their own money to start that church. They have 2 thriving dental practices that has paid for every home they have ever owned. Neither of them takes a salary or even a love offering from Solid Rock (I've been there when he has actually given it back when the people tried to give it to him). As an Apostle, he believes like Apostle Paul: God will bless your secular business you don't have to accept payment from the church (even though the Bible says it is OK). He chooses not to burden the church. Why would any sane person that owns their own business do what some of you are suggesting, use those assets to buy the church? No. Real Christians trust God, try reach the lost, tithe & keep fighting lies & the world. This is one of the few churches that I know of in this city where they are always giving and not taking. They have the largest backpack drive in the city for kids every fall 5k-10k free backpacks, they give clothes to the needy, visit the shut-in, and even feed families of ICU patients at hospitals. What other "ministry" is really ministering like this to the least of us. Final word: judge not lest ye be judged.
Yeah right... I can tell you a lot about this church and this APOSTLE and HIS WIFE. First of all they don't visit the sick and shut in AT ALL.Is that ministry? What about a member that was on the Usher Ministry when they were located at the FIRST location. The member had a brain tumor and NO ONE from the church went to see her, visit or call at all. The member died and the family didn't have enough money for funeral arrangements and the member of Solid Rock had to be cremeated. Now is that the way SOLID ROCK should have responded? Tell how HUNDREDS of members have left the church cause so called LADY T have ran then off because her husband THE APOSTLE was having affairs with them. Tell how APOSTLE has only been married to doctors. Tell how LADY T had stalked her exboyfriend (Harold) because he wouldn't marry her! She thought her money could buy love with him but than doesn't work for a true MAN!!! What happened to CHARTER MEMBERS THAT STARTED SOLID ROCK where are the first 40??? Gone, of course! The members of SOLID ROCK need to open their eyes!! God give you FIVE senses and you need to use them!

It's because of the high ambitions of men that the church gets into these kinds of predicaments. Placing that kind of money in bricks and mortar prevents the unsaved from being saved. What about doing things in the community with that kind of money. As soon as you have to put down a chair or two, the preacher thinks its time to "go big". Nothing wrong with healthy ambition and going big, but in this tough economic time, who's got their spiritual helmet on correct? We need deliverance from ourselves in order to go out into a lost world and tell a dying generation that Jesus Saves! We need to get our priorities right before we all get sucked into the vacuum of church stuff!!!!!

Investigate this Apostle wrote:
<quoted text> Too many people got their trust in the wrong places, persons and things. Why take a salary when you have full control of all monies? Where did all the money go? Where is the proof of the montly mortgage payments to the bank? The backpack drive that you speak of is held at Solid Rock Church but the materials and actual backpacks are donated from Blue Cross Blue Shield, do we need to get clarity on the back pack drive because yes Solid rock do donate a few school items but majority funded is through BCBS or is this your way of opening up yet another can of worms with the GRANT MONIES that are suppose to be used for that purpose. Then the sad part about your Back Pack Drive is that all of the community that shows up have to provide their children social security numbers and tenn care information. What is that for? I say again investigate this Apostle and you are going to find out that his lavish lifestyle is not just funded by New Image Family Dentistry but Solid Rock tithers. Judge not less ye be judged is correct, this is not an judging issue this is the truth shall set you free. There was no need to build a church for members that you do not have but because everybody wants to be known for having the biggest church, this is what got the church landed in foreclosure and now a chapter 11 bankruptcy. If you don't have the tithe coming in now, how you gonna pay a chapter 11 note monthly? or is it that like I stated earlier that the members and their money never left the Apostle just misappropriated the funds to leave his sick cancer fighting wife with 2 children and move to an upscale apartment and live single with the tithers money or do you even know?
First of all it seems like you are an angry person with an ax to grind. I happen to trust God for everything. I put no trust in man. I simply look at the facts of a situation and not the FEELINGS. Question of Fact: Where were the news cameras when they opened with their own money and built that church? Question of Fact: BCBS is an outstanding company that has partnered with them as well as other stores and donors in the community ONLY AFTER they paid for the backpack drive out of the church funds for 2 years!!! Then they were blessed by others seeing theie labor and offering to help. Were you there for that since you seem to know so much about it? PLAIN OLD FACT FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BUSINESS: Healthcare BENEFITS don't suffer because the economy is bad. That's why they are called benefits, the company you work for pays for the health or dental or prescription benefit up front and you the employee pay a little out of each check for the rest. So as long as people have bad teeth, poor health, and are sick health related professions don't lose. The economy has only affected how much employers and employees are paying. THAT'S WHY WE NEED NATIONAL HEALTHCARE! Once again you seem really close to the situation and hurt, so you may need to take your feelings out of it, look at where you may have helped your own hurt, and ask God to open your heart to forgiveness and a lot of love. I hope you think a little and pray a lot before responding.

First I would like to say that I wasn't aware that Dr. Anderson was suffering with Cancer, and I will be praying for her speedy recovery, I stopped using her services a few years ago when my insurance carrier dropped her from their plan. I'm not judging the Church, but questioning the Leadership, The info I spoke about came from the public records of Sheby County, thats how I know what's what with the loans and who signed them. I remember reading the article in Grace Magazine when they did the story on "PREACHERS PADS" on their home in Collierville they paid $390,000 for with the 2 kitchens, and 2 living Rooms, and 2 offices, and 2 family rooms, and 8 bedrooms for 4 people, and it was a beautiful home, but I guess it wasn't enough. They got so much negative feedback that other Preachers didn't want to do an interview because their members might begin to think for themselves and find a new place to worship. After reading some of the comments this morning, especially the one about where did the money go, I took another look at the Beautiful home Pastor Anderson has in Germantown and found that the home was purchased for $2.222 million dollars, but the loan on this property in only $499,000, that means he paid $1.7 million down to keep the mortage at around $4,000 a month and that was smart, but someone said he doesn't take a salary and I don't think the good Dr's dental practice is doing that well, but I could be wrong. Bottom line, when you are the CEO, PRESIDENT, OR DIRECTOR of these big Churches with Boards that have no power over the Preacher, who knows where the money is going. When you look at Preachers like Alton Williams, Frank Ray, Bill Adkins, and Brandon Porter to name a few who all claim to take no salary but all live in MILLION DOLLAR HOMES and live LAVISH LIFESTYLES, SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION FOR ME...WHERE DID THE MONEY COME FROM??????????

You know people, the devil is real real busy. If you all stay in the Word of God and not worry about what someone else is doing, this world wouldn't be full of so many crooks... God is control of this matter and HE is the only ONE that can JUDGE. Take off your black robs people and understand that just as YOU JUDGE, the same measure will be JUDGE unto YOU! You are not PERFECT... Get over trying to expose someone's life, If God is EXPOSING than HE doesn't need any help....

I don't think that's a fair statement.
This credit union is a business. They're in the business of making loans and expecting them to be repaid. They are no different than any other lender.
If you default on a loan you should expect consequences.
What was this lender expected to do when the churhes defaulted?
You are absolutely correct!!

You cannot come down on the banks about this. Foreclosure does not happen easily or quickly. The payments have to be in arrears not just late. As for these particular churches, I drive around Memphis and see dozens of churches who have become huge megachurches, even ridiculous looking costing millions and these are the same churches whose members are welfare folks. Maybe if the churches stayed the size they should and used the money to help their own congregation, welfare in this country wouldn't be such a problem. I think the pastor should read his Bible. He would see that Christ told the CHURCH to take care of their own not the government!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to the days where churches didn't build unless they had the funds? Fund raisers such as bake sales, car washes, and yard sales raised money for new buildings. Pastors shouldn't put the church congregation in debt!

Not paying your debt is a sin!

Pastor Bill Anderson is an upright man. His business is the word of God. My prayers are with Bill, his family, and his congregation. This is only a test. With the prayers of the righteous everything will be just fine. Sometimes God works in ways that we don't understand and if you are a negative person who seeks revenge of some sort by stating ugly words then you should come to grips that "Vengance is Mine saith the Lord". Be careful not to bad mouth this situation it is better that you pray.

Now we see who on here is really impartial (that means is not taking sides) and who is really on a personal rant (that means going on about personal hurts and misgivings instead of getting to the truth). Like I said before you APPEAR to have BEEN closely related to that ministry, and now have an ax to grind. You are mixing facts with conjecture(stuff made up from incomplete information)and hearsay. I care to respond to only facts and the truth of God. The truth is they said Solid Rock would be foreclosed on and closed on Feb. 16th. Hmmm today is the 23rd. They said the Pastor did this and that, but where is the proof? I can say that you are a liar, slanderer, theif and murderer. I only have proof of the 1st two by your previous statements, I have no proof of the last two so I would be wrong to assert (make it appear to be true) that you were also the last 2. So please, quit with the phony "I know the real truth" statements you keep making. By the way, are you saved? If not, Jesus came lived and died a sin free life and rose at the call of God on the 3rd day, for ALL of our sins. If you are a Christian, REMEMBER Jesus lived, died, and rose for ALL of OUR sins. I love you, and I hope you get better.

Honestly, who cares about where someone lives other than folks with nothing else to talk about. Having been involved in real estate for a long time, I can tell you public records don't tell the whole story. So what you think you know you don't. How about you go back to those records and see she built that first home by herself before she even had a practice. She was a hard working young black dentist that was doing well. And, she should be admired for that if nothing else. She got married and her husband helped her build a dental practice with her as the professional and him as the businessman, handling marketing, computers, repairs, etc. at the practice. He was a minister and businessman that never mixed the two. I'm pretty sure they would have stayed that way until God called them to plant a church in OAKHAVEN. A neighborhood noone cared about. They used their money, did God's work there and moved on to the next assignment. Who are you or better yet who are we to judge them for doing what they felt God called them to do? All of this is public record too, but I guess noone wants to pull out the old Grace magazines, Commercial Appeal articles, etc. unless they can use it to say something negative. You know why I love the phrase, " The truth is its own test"? Because, no matter what anyone says, the truth will test itself, in the end the truth will always speak and come forward. Last week a retarded man was released from being wrongfully imprisoned for 30yrs, when DNA evidence proved him innocent. This particular pastor should be applauded for saying "Yes" to the interview. Most people and pastors run and hide from tough situations. He answered the questions, and they must be doing what needs to be done to handle the issue because they are still there. Pride has no place in a Christian's life. It looks like this guy has no problem with putting pride in its place.

I really can't believe the detail comments that some people are making. For some of you to know that much detail information means that they considered you a friend of some sort, because no one tells their personal business to everyone. If you were a friend or befriended them in some way and now that they are down, you kick them even more, may God have mercy on your soul. I can't imagine knowing someone's pain and using it as a stepping tool to hurt them even more. For all Christians and non-Christians, instead of gossiping and putting their personal business out there, just PRAY and God will deal with it. Even if they have done wrong, God forgives and moves on so my prayer for those who speaking detail about their business: My God have mercy on those who speak of what they know and don't know, for vengence is all of God (in the natural and spirit).
