I TOLD THEM IT WAS BROKEN AND THEY SAID I DID IT LOADING IT INTO THE DARN TRUCK! no no no! THEY HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS "SOLD AS IS'...IT'S A TRICK-BEWARE!!!!
The sign stating sold as is for real. Any product sold as is has no warranty, no refund and no exchanges. This has been true for 40 years that I,m aware of.

The sign stating sold or purchased as is means just what it says. No exchanges, no refunds, and no waqrranty. This is why the prices have been reduced so much. It's been this way for 40 years that I'm aware of.

I had no problem with them. The issues that it sounds like is that you think you are getting a brand new mattress which are store displays or rejects from the factory.you need to look them over carefully, because they do have some defects that are minor.

I bought a queen size mattress set 6 months ago, pillow top. It felt great in the store and at home at first. It is now very very soft. I can't rest at night and have to sleep on the edge of the bed for some firmness. Finally last night, I had to go sleep in the guest bedroom due to terrible back pain in the morning. I hate getting duped! I think I have just given away hundreds of hard earned dollars. What recourse do I have. You know in a recession you really have to use extra vigilance!!!

I do not know who was running the before Brent (the current GM of the Memphis area), but it seems like they may have been the problem many of you are referring to. I went in a few weeks ago and talked to Justin who was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were working within a specific budget but found a king set that was a little out of our price range. I told Justin what that prive range was and he said he would talk to Brent and see what he could do. He called Brent, who was out of town for the weekend and let me talk to him on the phone. Brent gave us $100 off and a free delivery so we could buy the Sterns and Foster Etate set opposed to going with something we didn't like as much that was within our original price range. The guys that delivered our king set were very polite and clean young men that must like their job because they seemed very happy to be doing their job. About a week later, Brent called me to see if my husband and I were enjoying our bed. WE LOVE IT! Never slept better in our lives. Crazy Mike's is definitely best in class. Happy, professional, and helpful employees. I have recommended my friends and family to do business with Crazy Mike's on Summer Ave. Good job and good luck guys. Brent and Justin are definitely keepers.

My wife and I found a bed at Macy we liked but it was around 4000 dollars. A friend of my wife told her to check out Crazy Mike's on Summer Ave before we bought the Sterns and Foster HOTEL Collection bed from Macy. I was a little skeptical at first after reading a couple bad reviews, but several seem like former disgruntled employees. Michael was our salesman and knew exactly the bed we were looking for and even quoted the price that MACYs was selling it for. We asked why can you sell them so cheap. He explained how AS-IS bedding works. Anything out of the manufacturer's original packaging to be sold in TN is considered to be secondhand. This does not mean that the bed has been slept on. It included truck rubs, snags, closeouts, discontinued beds, display models, and overstocks. We, like many people i am certain, were fine with that. It saved us 3000 dollars compared to the price of that bed at MACYs. We looked up the statute for as-is bedding in TN and found what he told us to be true. They even offer a free one year in store warranty on any mattress sold with a box spring. Michael was very upfront and knowledgeable about the beds they carry. It was a great experience. We will be back next week to purchase a queen size bed for our daughter...and maybe some furniture! They have some very nice living room suits at crazy prices. I see why they call it Crazy Mike's. We were very pleased. We would never buy a mattress anywhere else. Thanks, Crazy Mike's guys.

I think you may have this man confused with someone else. THIS MAN lives across the street from me in Rosemark. He has never lived outside of TN. His wholesale company, American Closeout has been in business since the mid90s and has been selling mattresses, furniture, and home decor in his own retail stores, Crazy Mike's, for the last 4 years in Atoka, in Memphis, and Batesville, MS. I also heard recently he was opening 3 or 4 stores in Tampa, FL, one in Little Rock, 3 around Dallas, and one in Shreveport, LA to all run simultaneously for the long term. Doesn't sound fly by night to me. Sounds like they are growing, becoming a national presence, and are here to stay.

Look people. If this business has been in business for 13 years, they obviously are doing something right. I purchased a plush pillow top queen mattress last year and I sleep sooooo good every night. I am going back to get my daughter a twin pillow top. You cant please everyone. some people just gripe and complain about everything. I think this is a reputable business and people dont listen to what others say, just go see yourself then judge.

Lots of bad reviews online. Google it.

If I see a sign that says "as is" I usually walk, as that is a good indicator that they either know their product is defective, or they don't want to deal with the customers, only their money.

Folks, it's worth the extra money to go to a real mattress (or furniture) store and get a nice mattress set that you are sure isn't some re-covered POS, plus you get good customer service.

I only buy stuff from Ashley, 51 Furniture and Great American Home Store.

WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID HAVERTY'S AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU LIKE BUSTED STUFF AND A HASSLE TO RETURN IT

That place is a joke and some are the guys that work there. Jeromy was my salesman and he wanted me to put $200.00 in his hand and he would load up the ones I picked. They were priced at $999.00. So they can't be doing that well because my cousin told me to ask for him, he gave her the five finger discount.
Ashley.......come on now!It sounds like everybody was doing well till you showed up.He gave cuz a discount....period.Aint he a salesman and you a customer? That $999.00 aint a hard price,it's to let you feel like your gettin a 1k mattress at .20 on the dollar, which is a pretty dern good feeling.Jerome aint stealing the mattresses,he's selling them. The owners seem tickled and on top of things enough to know if ol J-dog was screwin 'em.What the hell is wrong with you girl? I got business over on humphreys this afternoon,I believe I'm gonna see can I find ol Romey Rome and let him load up what I pick.

When I see a sign that says "as is" I take an extree close look and expect the price to reflect an "as is" sale.I got a $1400.00 wall oven from Sears last year for $100.00 because it was the wrong color and got returned without the box.Still had warranty too. It's off topic but I love that story.I got it for a hundred dollars!

I bought and paid for a NEW queen sized mattress and box set up. What has been delivered is crap. The box has numerous grease stains in it and the material has been rubbed till the material is breaking down, the mattress does not have the tag that is only to be removed by the consumer and has what appears to be a urine stain on it. I gonna give them one chance to return my money, including the delivery fee, I paid the person they recommended. If they don't then I,m going to contact bought the district attorney and the state attorney general, as they are in violation of Section 47-18-104 and title 68 chapter 16 part 2 of the TN statues. It is a violation to sell used mattresses in TN, also deceptive trade, punishable bt triple the amount involved plus attorney and court costs, as well as a violation of the federal laws involving the afore mentioned consumer tag. So not gonna argue with them either they reimburse me all monies I am now out, or get ready to pay it out in much greater amounts in attorneys fees.

I went by there yesterday and all I can say is...Ashley Louis,Captain Redneck was wrong, wrong about them and wrong about you.I owe you an apology and here it comes.
You made a comment about crazy mikes and for no particular reason at all I jumped on you, made fun of your story, was mean about doing it and acted like you didn't know what you were talking about. In fact it was me that didn't know what he was talking about.J-dog was fired for stealing, the service was terrible and we damn near run out of there.I should have kept my mouth shut and didn't,for that I'm sorry. If I hurt your feelings or even just pissed you off, I truly apologize.

I have to give credit where credit is due. I was expecting to get screwed on this deal after reading the comments here. However to their credit, they sent out a new mattress and box spring set up right away. I was told they made it an upgrade free. So I am pleased, as I wanted a nice mattress for guests when they came in to town.

It is sad to me that people or an ex employee would be so ugly. These guys work very hard everyday for what they have. Every company sometimes, unfortunately has to weed through not so good employees. Come on people, be serious, murders, used bedding? REALLY thats riduculous!!!!!
