I am so glad I read this review. I was going to check them out this weekend to purchase a mattress for my 14 yr. old son. Not now! Thank you for your input!

I knew they were doing that. I got a guest bedroom set from them and I slept on them once and I itched all night. I returned to the store and spoke with the manager and he said they were not used. There was a couple waiting to speak with him about their mattress that has a sink in the middle after one week of use.

live by fear, die by fear
in todays market the only way that product is sold is be convincing the consumer that it will make your life easiser if you do what they tell you swine flu you must buy had sanatizer or you could get it, 3 people in the entire united states died, tornado warning go buy a weeks worth of food, maybe lasts one night and this if the Mississippi river doesn't slow down the storm, snow go get your kids out of school and go and buy two weeks worth of food or you might die, last good ice storm ??? 94 i think the year 2000 the computers were going to shut down and our lives as we know it were going to come to an end, solution save one years worth of water these people believe that if they make you live by fear you will listen which in return means good ratings or popularity we have worked many years to perfecting the art of selling An AS IS mattress and NO these mattresses have not had murders on don't you think that would be called evidence!!! It just sounds like to me she just got her job back at mattress firm the same company she bad mouthed while here hopefully she will have a long successful career selling mattresses there, best of luck but if you are her employer i might recommend checking her references

if only the happy customers posted their comments online.. If that were that case I wouldn't work on commission I would be working for a dime for every good post and Nickle for every customer return. I could promise you one thing, I would be debt free! We have been open for 11 months in this one location and we only advertised one month that sounds like good customer service and good referrals to me . But hey thanks for the publicity.

First and foremost, does anyone reasonably think that selling something that is in direct violation of the law would be done so blatantly? Many of the accusations are unfounded and are more sour grapes than solid evidential statements. Some of you have written things that you back up with heresay but can't and won't back up with proof. Just goes to show that anonymous posts on the Internet can say anything without having to be something so simple as truthful.
We recently made a purchase at Crazy Mike's and couldn't be happier. Both the product and the service were second to none. So If Only here's your first dime on your way to a very wealthy life.

I do not understand. First of all, we do everything we do according to state laws, Ihave been in buisness for thirteen years, and have a perfectly clean record. We sale new mattresses with warranty. We sale truckload rubs, as is. We sale overstocks, that are new, but sold as is. We sale warranty issues that are sold as is. We mainly carry higher end mattresses at deep deep discount. The definition of a used mattress in the state of tennessee is anything that has been out of its original package. Well what does that do to floor models? What does that do to truckload rubs,`they have to be taken out of plastic to have the rub removed. We inspect each matt, and treat each mattress following state laws. Readers must understand, we do sale new with warranty, we sale new as is and we sale used as is. we cater to every customer. We strive to be the best, we sale thousands of matts per month, you have a couple of disgruntle employees, if they were good, they would still have a job.We have company policies, and anyone working for me, must follow. If you need to talk to my corporate office for any reason, please contact a store, to get the number, 95 percent of the employees that work at this great company love it, we have very little turn over unless they are fired for breaking company policies, before you buy, talk to people through memphis that have had great experiences with us. You might see a couple of bad things here, but the box spring lady, call our store where you purchased , and they will fix asap. One other thing is last year i purchased an air bed, it had a hole, it was brand new, i took it back and got another one. Every once and a while such as the dip in the middle of the mattress one customer was talking about, we might have one out of two thousand new matts that have a dip. No different than having a car or air mattress, with a defect, we fix those very very few situations.the itchy man, are you an ex employee, are you sure it was not your sheets, most people do not sleep directly on top of there matt without sheets. We just dont have situations come up as this,i apologize if you feel it was our product, but we do have stict policies.
Glad I found this

I am relocating to Memphis, Tn and was told to come shop with this company. After reading this there is no way I will. If you have unhappy employees you don't bad mouth them on the internet, I'm sure they helped increase your business in someway. If you know you have a respectfull business you just don't worry about it. Sounds to me like you are hurting for business. I see why an ex-employee would put your business out there like that.

Let me say this first. I do not work for Crazy Mikes Mattress nor have I purchased from Crazy Mikes Mattress. People this sounds pathetic can't someone complain without others bad mouthing? Proof and reference instead of allegations? I have been in their store and looked as I do many businesses just as I find in most stores friendly no pressure happy employees. Funny that the ex employee never said if they quit or were terminated but who badmouths when they move on to greener pastures not many. It's our responsibility as consumers to know where we are shopping. Common sense plays a huge roll too but I realize this is Memphis we often act before thinking. Read the signs in their stores it clearly says the beds are as is and the types of as is beds they sell. I didn't find the mattress I was looking for at the time but will continue to support local business and if they or anyone else has what I like at a unbeatable price then I will buy. I will say they seem to have the best pricing but price isn't everything.

This is really sad; I'm the woman that worked for the company that this mess is about. Whoever wrote the email to start this was not trying to cause problems for Crazy Mikes they wanted to start problems for me. I will never talk about a company I have worked for unless I feel that upper management has done me wrong, that was not the case in this matter. However I do have a Problem with the store manager who makes everything a race issue. I have moved on and no matter what I do or where I go the customers I served there will remember me because of my outstanding customer services and willingness to make sure they're happy when they leave the store. The only problem I see with this business is they have a 23 year old, DUI still driving, hotheaded manager who reacts before he thinks. Yes, he fired me but I was the top salesman since I started. I sold over $25,000 in one month with days off, none else was doing that in any of the stores so you tell me who loss. FYI, I still send customers in there and for the most part they WALK. If you took as much time to grow that business as you do Spiting tobacco that would be a great store. Thanks for the heads up not to use you for a reference, but if you were that smart you would have known I got three offers for a job while working for you. 401k, insurance base, plus something you will never know anything about. Enjoy the things I made happen for you, we both know you were always threatened by my abilities to make things happen for that business. Now that I have cleared up my end I m sure you have more to say because I expect that from you. But I wrote were FACTS that by the way can be proved. I was smarter then you think I printed my sells everyday along with my team members.

Correction: It was $25,000 in one week. Only with the company less the two months and I sold a little over $60,000. Not bad for someone who acts her COLOR.

I bought a matt a month in advance and they sold it to someone else. I got a really nice one on sale and they tried to make me get a shitty one for that price instead of giving my money back.

All I have to say is beware. My wife called me from the store and wanted me to come there when I got off work. They had her thinking she would get a better mattress there then Mattress Firm and it sound like it was. When they got to my home with the mattress it was not the same one we selected in the store. I did save $700 on the King size set but I was a used mattress with a new top, not what I wanted and wasnt told this until after the fact.

That place is a joke and some are the guys that work there. Jeromy was my salesman and he wanted me to put $200.00 in his hand and he would load up the ones I picked. They were priced at $999.00. So they can't be doing that well because my cousin told me to ask for him, he gave her the five finger discount.

Wow! I'm so confused! Is it all Crazy Mike's that are like this or just the ones in Memphis? I was planning to go by tomorrow at the one in Munford, but am undecided now. All I need is a good, NEW mattress at an affordable price...and nothing else.

I assure that the manager of the store will take care of you with any problems. If for some reason you feel that you were not taken care of ask for corporate's phone number. There are no major hoops to jump through. We want the customer to be well taken care of.

Look before you buy and make sure there is not Urine Stains or Blood Stains or just Stains that are not from " Water Stains" you would be better off getting your mattress from the back of the store in the garbage.. You are right, The place is a Joke!!!!
