BNSF's Memphis intermodal facility could be engine of growth

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - As early as April 1, the best place to see Memphis's distribution muscle will be at Lamar and Shelby Drive.

Shelby and Lamar: an area that has not had development in a long time.
Memphis is known well for the intersection of river, roads, air traffic material movement. The rail ways have, until recently, been AMtrack and BNSF, but out of sight or sound.
This effort will move a lot of freight, and boost the local job efforts immensely.
