Fort Campbell soldier dies in car crash while turning into gate 2 at base

A Fort Campbell soldier has been killed in a traffic accident at Fort Campbell's gate 2. According to a news release from the Clarksville police, 19-year-old Carolina Short was traveling northbound on Fort Campbell Blvd. Full Story

I am from the hometown of David Short and am truly saddened by this story. He and Carol were newlyweds and this is so sad. My prayers are with her during this time and David's family here in Michigan
