I totally agree, people I speak with feel the same as you. This worthy regime is now going to get exposed. What gets me is, did they think they would get away with the same nonsense, the people of ecorse were tired of, by the last idiots. Because it is the same thing going on.

And your right about the firemen...where is there contract DPW got a juicy contract, but 4 years without a pay raise that is just wrong, and same with the cops...no contract.

Having the state come in will only stop the corruption as long as they are here. Didnt that happen in the past. Ended up the same old story right after they left. it never stopped. just took a break while someone was looking over the shoulders of the elected.

Arent there any honest people with vision for the city who will run. People who dont have their eyes open to every dollar that can be made for themselves. We had a bookie at one time handle the treasury who didnt steel a dime. he put all others to shame with his integrity while in office! we need people who can plan and have ideas to improve our great little city. will be a longhaul for several reasons
1. We are in MI
2. Economy throughout US isnt looking good for a long time
3. Granholm is still governor

even so, there are many things can be done if someone wants it done and has a good plan.

If you do the math, the DPW is making on an average $8500.00 a day. That will be over 3 million dollars a year. They have about 8 workers, working part time. Why are the making so much money? Sounds a little fishy to me.

is it true the workers are only getting 8 bucks an hour? the new dpw will not cut city owned lots any longer. they charge the city an extra 40 bucks per! better than scumbury approved it personally. also approved by the salisbury wanna be in black was seniors dont get their walks done. the city is charged 40 to remove snow from a sidewalk. O, please!

Some are saying worthy is the silent partner of the two DPW owners, which one is worthy's nephew, so I am starting to see why the "MAYOR" and council approved the contract

Are any of those police and fire losing their careers through malicious and fraudulent terminations forcing law suites against the city? I would be mroe then happy to have my career while the contract is being worked out then to not have a career at all. Seems to me that some of those police and fire that are complaining shouldn't take that for granted, stop whining and be happy they weren't the ones that lost a job during the Salisbury adminstration.

Isn't the police on a two teir set up. Second teir wont see a thing anyway if they are. That is the first teirs bargining chip for thier own raise.

If your complaining about the mayor hiring his criminal nephew the police shouldn't complain. From what I have been told there are officers that have gotten their jobs back that commited crimes themselves. From what I have been told there are three that lost their jobs and got them back and one still working there that have all commited crimes. Whether they were found guilty or not is niether here nor there......from what I understand the incidents are all true. I don't know any of the names however, one officer was convicted of domestic violence and got his job back,(with a conviction like that is he supposed to be carrying a weapon? Did he have his badge, benefits and weapon while on suspension and even after the conviction? The next officer took a gun to a card party (or something like that) while getting drunk only to pull his weapon and threaten people? Is that not an FA? He got away with it and the city gave him his job back.....What about that officer that assaulted the Salisbury's son.....got away with it and got his job back. The last officer is still employed, was one of Salisbury's "bodyguards". He was seen on news clips blocking the media with his arms folded and a smug look on his face, sneaking the mayor away out of the building away from the media? I was told there is currently a law suit with him as a defendant for a sexual assault of a person that he arrested. Well those are the things that I have heard. In my opinion...before anyone snarls at and makes judgments against the mayor they should look in their own back yard first.....or didn't the police want anyone to know about those secrets. Were they secrets?
