tractor trailer's driving thru residential streets

Can somebody in this town please explain to me what is with all these 18 wheeler tractor trailer driving thru residential streets, I work in this town an I constantly see this every day an it is really annoying.. Yesterday I saw one on Thelma ave rip down a power line an just kept in diving

Yeah, the same thing happened in my area of Suffolk County, BayShore,.The tractor drove down my block and caught the power lines that lead to my house, ripping the electric service right off of the wall. Of course, I was not home when this happened, but a neighbor had seen it happen and didn't see who the company. So, I had to spend $800.00 to fix it. Tractor Trailers of an certain height should not be allowed to drive down residential streets.

It's because business owners feel that they can get away ith anything. They tell their drivers to take these routes in order to save time and save the all mighty dollar.
