SEC filed a complaint. They have to prove what's in their complaint a******. And then of course you would know that he was also named as a victim, you can be bot, and this case he most definitely is. He lost more than any of those that actually filed the initial complaint. SEC wouldn't name him if it wasn't true, according to you..... they have proof. They also have proof of what he DIDN'T do. Vinny is the least of the SEC's problem, they know who they want. Anyone with half a brain, which I guess doesn't include you knows this.

You are lying, or confused. FOIA in no way applies to a private entity, be it nonprofit or not.

FOIA, acronym for the Freedom of Information Act, applies on to governmental agencies. Little League is not, has never been, and never will be part of the government.

If West Islip LL wanted to be completely transparent, and since there are many suspicions about their fiduciary actions, they would post their revenues and expenses right on their website, to put any questions about propriety to rest.

But do not lie or display ignorance by saying those records can be FOIAed. They are not subject to FOIA, any more than your own personal tax documents are.

West Islip LL got burned with the real estate slowdown. They could not turnover what they used LL money for. Just like any scam, eventually it explodes. Insurance money helped a little, but still a lot unaccounted for.
