I have an antique platform scale in excellent condition. It is a Fairbanks and also says, "patent 800" on it. It is steel, wood, and brass. I cannot find any information on it. I may be interested in selling if anyone is interested.

Thanks but Toronto is a little to far for me. I live west of montreal near the Ontario border. Ottawa would be the furthest I would drive too. Thanks anyway

We have a Renfrew scale we bought 25 years ago for $375 from an antique dealer. This past weekend we saw 2 at the Spring Cottage Life Show for $1,395. by Young's Antiques out of Belleville, Ontario
