Just take away their licenses or put them in the slammer - OR BOTH ! Their friends and family care. Their employer cares. The bar or restaurant who served them and could lose their business because of it cares. Anyone who's let their kid ride with them cares. We all should care.

I wish the boy a speedy recovery. It did seem odd that they had this lawyer before the boy was out of the coma. The accident should also be a warning to parents..kids in dark clothing should not be bike riding at night...

Just so you all know, My son was wearing a BRIGHT ORANGE Sweat Shirt and they were all 2 blocks away from home. Do you people really think that as a Mom I need to take share in the blame for a drunk driver hitting my son? Clothing doesn't matter, but are you trying to tell me that your not paying attention while your driving a car and that everyone should be wearing reflectors? marge wrote: the mother shares in some of the blame children should not be allowed to take their bikes out in dark long island streets are dark their clothing is dark and even someone who is not drinking has trouble seeing the mother should have gotten her fat ass off the chair and took him by car

RE Kenneth Mollins
|
Kenneth Mollins an ambulance chaser because he wasn't smart enough to do anything else. His father gave him the money to open up a practice and he was too incompentent to practice any kind of respectable law so he resorted to advertising. He's imply a bad lawyer and a sleazy slimeball.

A word on attorneys
|
In cases like these it is important for the victens (clients) to have an attorney who is looking out for the clients best intersts. What worries me is hearing that Ken Mollins was hired as Michael Nicosia's attorney. Ken Mollins is a selfish, ruthless attorney who is rude to his clients, and takes advantage of many people who are not knowledgable on the personal injury aspect of the law. Families like Michael Nicosia's need an attorney who will look out for their clients best interest (in this case Michael especially).

Mollins should be disbarred for his unethical conduct violating 8 or 9 of his clients rights with every contract.

I agree. The press should start treating Mollins like the village idiot and dismiss his cattle calls to them.
